I love it too. Its versatile and allows for taping and other extremes that you don’t wanna do directly on a subs skin.

Mummification with variety of shapes make cling film more perfect for restraints than ropes (atleast for me). Especially when I mummify with a vibrator in her and make her squirm a few hours

It can be and that is a very good point.

Safety is paramount as a person can overheat and dehydrate over long periods of time.

The aftercare and constant checking during a mumification scene is paramount.

A personal temperature gauge and a pair off EMT scissors incase you need to cut somebody out quickly is also well advised.

Always leave a folded piece of tape to gain access quickly.

Total enclosure in any form can put the individual in a meditative state. Nurturing back to womb. Being totally paralysed without movement or escape or escape from stimulation either can be incredibly scary and erotic at the same time sending them into a deep submissive space.

For those that have experienced it, I presume it's best to start with arms and torso?

Ha yes it's a common error to start with the legs, which will lead to disaster. Move down the body and when the arms are tight against the body, then walk the person to the bed. After that its legs, you can use a tea towel between the knees to stop any discomfort. Push them onto the bed, blindfold and gag if required.

I always make a cut around the vagina area for access. Insertables if necessary and good to go. After that it's sensory play. If you do roll them over be careful of positional asphyxia. Keep in mind they are going to struggle to safe word or signal if gagged.

You dont need to go into full mummification. Its also a bit scary if you over do it plus heating andcrapid extraction issues etc.

Poundshop does a strong pliable wrapping tape for parcels. Use it on wrists and ankles or to attach limbs to things like rails or chairs etc. Safer/softer introduction and easier to keep temp under control.

Good for forcing and holding positions especially to emphasis vulnerabilities and easy access.

Good tools to release quick are essential like emergency scissors. But practice on a dummy wrap first so you know what the tool can easily handle and what it cant. Think about how you will go about an emergency release as you go or as you decide what tie/wrap you are going for. After care isxas important than the event and arguably more so

I have done this on a number of occasions. Both wrapping and being wrapped.

Pallets wrap is better than cling film. It is wider and thicker and easy to wrap.

Safety warning. I do this type of play in the Winter, as the body tends to overheat! Make sure there is a bottle of water with a straw to give the wrapped partner. And a pair of safety shears/scissors to hand at all times. Never leave the wrapped person unattended for more than a min or 2 at the most!

Stanley knife is a bad idea, easy to cause injury in a rush. Safety EMT shears the way to go.

Also, test pallet wrap, it often has finishes that cause rashes. Food safe cling film is much less likely to cause issues.

Duct tape over the top.

Towels between limbs helps pad the joints, tight wrapping ankles and knees can get very painful without some padding.

If you want to wrap someone up and then open sensitive area's, an idea would be bottle lids for the nipples, wrapped into play makes it easy to cut through the wrap to expose etc, a cricket box or similar would work for genitals etc

When it comes to release, safety shears are good, a rescue hook is worth looking at
