Well its an old argument.....anyone in a minority of any sort have to suffer group labelling as a loose generalisation identifying them. Asian people, white people, mentally ill yadda yadda. But when dealing with individuals we like to be more specific and sympathetic to how they like to be identified and see themselves. I used to label people soo much and wasn't until they started labelling me did I understand the other view point. I found this liberating in so many facets of life not just sexuality and am happier person for it. Maybe a lot of these sexual labels are as ambiguous as the sudo racial term Caucasian. Instead of accepting we are all on a spectrum we seem to make more pigeon holes to put people in and make another new contentious label. LGBT is enlarging to include more labels LGBTQ....next to be added will be pansexual...soon straight will be added then that will be us all covered....do we then start over this incessant desire to label???? Meanwhile those haters stay hater and the lovers stay lovers. xx to all

I don't go for men as they're not for me, I like women and femininity but if I did then I wouldn't even consider a man who wasn't openly bi, gay or whatever because as I see it, if he won't say he is bi/gay then he is highly likely to be ashamed to have anyone know he has been with me or even friends with me.

I'm not ashamed of who I am, why should I be. I'm not hurting anyone and not forcing my dressing ways on anyone so I wouldnt want to be involved with anyone who was.

I don't go for men as they're not for me, I like women and femininity but if I did then I wouldn't even consider a man who wasn't openly bi, gay or whatever because as I see it, if he won't say he is bi/gay then he is highly likely to be ashamed to have anyone know he has been with me or even friends with me.

I'm not ashamed of who I am, why should I be. I'm not hurting anyone and not forcing my dressing ways on anyone so I wouldnt want to be involved with anyone who was.

The couple who posted this reply are right too, trans women either post or pre op want to be treated openly and not as some dirty little secret so they avoid guys who would treat them so.

And they're right it would give you many more options too OP, consider changing your profile to say so and threads like this would have had a much different outcome with better results.
