I've had my fair share of messages from single guys. Sometimes they eloquently ask 'hows you' [that was the whole message] or politely request me to 'show ur cock' [that was also the whole message]. Ignoring the fact that I'm not looking to meet single men, most of the time, I think the messages are funny, and at worst the lack of effort is a bit annoying.

Over 150 a day from single males if filters are off.

And if I added a new pic then over 300. Just horrendous really.

Don't get the opportunity to search what you're looking for if all the time you're just wading through mass spam mail. The odd gem gets completely lost within it. So I find if I message first works best for me

Depends on various things. If we don't pop into Fab for a few days then we might only get one or two per day. If we pop in but don't do much then we might get 10-20 over the next 24hrs. If we post a photo, we could get 100 messages over the following day or two. If we visit a big city it gets mad....a couple of nights in York and I think we got over 200 per day.

I've definitely learned some important lessons so far.

Women and couples can get 50 - 200 messages a day if they've posted naughty pics.

If men aren't offering money for

your private parts, then you're missing out.

We have single males filtered out 99% of the time but will drop filters for occasional forum games and if we’re looking for someone.

Some of the messages that follow are staggering.

On the other hand, we’ve had some really eloquent messages and conversations with some single guys who are now on our hotlist waiting for when we can organise meets.

We just don’t need the continual bombardment of the crap messages though.

Don’t want to start putting people down, but very obvious copy and paste generic messages are a turn off/disappointment. The lack of effort doesn’t bode well for a future meet!!

I've not had to block anyone as an individual, but I did turn off single guys as I'm straight - not Fab straight

- and one guy just would not take no for an answer. Ergo, they're all blocked now

But there's one that gets round the problem (I assume it's a single guy) who pretends to be a couple. But it's always the sane age, same location and a variation on the sane user name. I got a message yesterday entitled "Hiya Daddy" or something similar, and I wrote back along the lines of "Oh, you're back again, are you? How long until you delete this particular profile - 20 minutes?"

It was actually 45 minutes before the profile disappeared, but the problem took care of itself and I didn't have to block
