Apartment living Vs House living?

Has anyone moved from a apartment in the city to a house in the suburbs and really miss your apartment ?

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

Unless you enjoy the hustle and bustle of night life, shopping, restaurants etc, I can't see who would. In my 20s that may have been the case.

Not so much the night life.... just having things open 24 hours in walking distance.... in the suburbs you tend to drive more than walk...
