So irritating when people promise to turn-up and then don't, you make the effort to meet safely in a public place, they can't be arsed, so impolite, given that swinging is an intensely personal activity. Happened to me last week, black T-shirt,jeans, reading a copy of "The Times" as described, meet in a County Hotel lounge where everyone else is Miss Marple. Could not have made myself more obvious, I stood out like a dog's bollocks.

So sad when people agree to meets and then lack the courage to turn-up and say: "not for us". At least, if you go to a club, you know that pretty much everyone is genuine. They have their kit off!

Were you liking your own bollocks or did the dog get preferential treatment?

Sheffield

Report them as no-shows and move on.

At least it was a coffee meet so you had't paid out for a hotel room. This is why all my first meets are for coffee, that way its been a half hour off my time and nothing else.

I've had a few people mess me about but so far no no-shows but not had that many meets yet. I've had endless ping pong mails that dry up the moment I suggest a meet and also a few arrangements made but canceled at the last minute. Either that or I cant get hold of them as I am about to set off. Starting to recognize the signs now so don't very often get caught up in it.

This was the first time (in many) I'd arranged an agreed meet and the other party didn't show, or, so far, failed to apologise for a no-show. Pretty piss-poor in my book. Any weak excuse would have been fine as an apology, silence. Sooo irritating.
