I always hide my profile when away or at work an people moan

I do it so I don’t get bombarded with mails

Anyone else do this

Very sensible for the Ladies as this reduces the amount of unwanted rubbish you have to filter through.

I have several chats with Ladies who do that but still keep in touch.

Don't see why you would, you don't have to read all of them. Comes across like someone who wants to sneak around knowing their partner isn't looking when they can't and don't want be found out. There's a few like that on here.

I often hide mine when I need to take a break from the site or cut down on messages. It's either that or close my account entirely, lose all my friends lists and veris, and have to start all over again. It's a very welcome feature for me.

If people get arsey because you hide it for whatever reason (and you do not have to justify yourself), then they are twats.

Rather presumptuous and judgemental. People hide their profiles for numerous reasons.

Just turn your notification off. It's not like you are going to read all your message anyway, just read them at your leisure or during your break period.

Not that all. Sometimes nice to have time out from few arrogant men that think were a piece of meat and not females. Ye I hide mine from time to time. But definitely not hiding from anyone .
