I am afraid that it is par for the course, what is more annoying is that when you get home (having sat in a car park texting them yet they don't reply yet how much they were looking forward to meeting you ) they are online!

Grrr that is just so rude and horrid, really wish you had just an unreliability check or list. Just to stop beautiful people inside and out being hurt and wasting their time. If there were no details and just a name the no show at least it would give us all an idea.

Annoyingly we spent the whole of the afternoon the day before exchanging texts!

London

I only meet single men, I'm the wrong side of 50, a size 22 looking for a minority group and never experienced a no show.

This is not a gloat. Some people get a kick arranging meets they have no intention of keeping. I don't give them that opportunity. I always meet socially first during my lunch hour or after work. Lunch time outside Marks where I was going to get a sarnie anyway or at the station after work so I don't miss my train home if they don't show.

If they can't meet at those times I don't meet. If I'm at a loose end on a Saturday I'll arrange to meet in London Bridge, 15 minutes from me so not that far out of my way...but out my way none the less but I know it'll never happen.

Guess what? I've never had a social meet in London Bridge they've had the flu, bronchitis, car trouble lol I've never rearranged as I know these are fantatist who won't meet.

I now don't deviate from my way of doing things.

It won't work for everyone, not all like social meets, but if we're honest we have a gut feeling about people: too eager to meet, saying all the right things etc. All I'd say is not to put yourself out or spend money up front, it encourages the day dreamers.

Have fun all.

I'm surprised how often my gut instinct works, but it does!

It is these tossers that spoil it for the rest of us! They probably all had Adonis like piccies and got you really up for some hot fun with a fit stud when in reality they were geeky nerds having a wank at your expense!.......Maybe there might be openings now for the ordinary, nice guys.............??? I wish lol!!! xxx

Same for me. There are plenty of other "good guys" about and my recreational time is precious
