End of STIs during the pandemic..

I read yesterday that prolonged social distancing along with proactive testing for anyone with symptoms could eliminate some STI's for ever. Now that would be a silver lining from this Covid nonsense wouldn't it?

Unless you don't get tested so you don't know about them so when you get released back into the wild you start spreading them. It would be a really good time for every one to order the home testing kit and get treated for any sti's it would certainly help bring the numbers down.

Doesn't prevent ignorance or stupidity, so normal service will resume.

Sadly many people think that using condoms means they dont need testing.

I'm due for testing now. Well over due for me. But as I've only had one person in 7 weeks I'm not overly worried at missing it. But am trying to get one. As would cover me for my last week at clubs before we locked down

And some think they've developed herd immunity and convince themselves that they don't need to wear condoms at all! ;(

It's possible, but of course it requires those in higher risk categories to get tested and then get treatment. Abstaining is the easy part right now!
