Lots of badly needed improvments and a complete refurb.

It needs it.

We hear one of the first things they plan to do is put the entrance around the back where the Car Park is.

Not suprised to be honest that the old owners moved on they was obviously not making ends meet by the fact they started laying on women to attract the guys on a friday

Question is what type of club is it going to be when it re opens?

I may go and have a look see if its any better under new management

Good luck Paul & Flirt. Shall have to pop round in the near future, remind myself of the glory days of years gone by lol.

As people have said, the club is in need of a new lease of life, and I can't think of a safer two pairs of hands for it to be in for a flourishing future.

Like Rome, it won't be built in a day, but there's pleny of latent goodwill out there, so I'm sure you'll get the support whilst progress is being made.

yeah i think showers are a must

i remember going one night and a guy was shagging this women on the sofas and when he had done he pulled his trousers back up, went to the bar, had a drink then went looking for another woman to fuck

Sorry but in that enviroment i would insist anyone who has been playing got clean before they came near me, its one of the reasons ive never has sex in the pace cause there was nowhere to clean up after

showers and a changing room would make that place so much better

That should be easy.

But there was the conundrum...there was a "wet area" that the previous owners locked off. It has a Sauna, Jacuzzi, lockable lockers, toilets with bidets etc. It obviously costs money to power up all those facilities, and no-one was using them, so the wet area was locked up

Use them or lose them in action. Lets see what the future holds.

They weren't using them because they were being charged for a towel which is ridiculous, anywhere that has a wet facility should provide complimentary towels.

Secondly they were in a very poor state and the Jacuzzi was frankly, extremely naff.

No doubt these things will be addressed. What is the date for the official re-launch party Paul?

could i suggest that you dont do your couples night on a saturday night as all the clubs seem to do couples night saturdays so us singles dont have a club to go to saturdays lol

I have been many times in the past and never realised that there was a carpark at the back!!! I always used to park in the supermarket carpark across the road until they shut it and when I last went I just parked on the road but didn't feel happy leaving the car there!!! xxx

A good thing would not having working girls in a swingers club,it's like having straight guys in a gay club to attract gay men most clubs have gone down hill, heard recently that chams let a group of stag do guys in much cheaper then a brothel I guess but they have no interest in the swing scene that's why we stopped goin

This was always my favourite club as a single, it always seemed to be full of action, I only went 3 or 4 times a year (Wednesdays and Fridays) then they knocked Wednesdays on the head and the last couple of times I went there was a 'munch' that appeared to be couples only and although there were loads in, they all disappeared into the couples room and didn't play outside, very frustrating to not even have anything to watch! I felt like an unwanted intruder on a couples night! I can't wait for it to take off properly again and I totally go along with the showers suggestions, it was a pain going down into the basement because you felt you had to get dressed to come back upstairs again! Good luck you two, let's see it back to its' former glory! xxx

There's various aspects to that. I've been to "white towel" clubs in the past, and after a fun session ir a dip in the pool/hot tub/jacuzzi you get back to find your towel, which you left hung up in a nice dry state has been nicked and someone else's wet one is all that's left. Maybe someone would like to expand on the hygiene implications of that. Doesn't happen though when you can easily identify your own towel. That said, the previous owners made no apology about the fact that they didn't want the added laundry costs, and in all fairness, the expansion of that club into the basement with the addition of the sauna, jacuzzi etc cost them over £20,000 and they didn't charge anyone an extra penny to use them.

I should have mentioned in my last post that no-one was forced to BUY a towel. Everyone was very welcome to bring their own and not get charged "corkage" to use it

use xts alot over the years but sadly not the last 2 years... but the club is not to far from us so look forward to seen the changes ..we will be makein a vist on the 9th so hopefully say hi...best of luck guys xx

a changing room wouldnt be a bad thing, i dont drive so when i went had to reply on taxis etc, so could never get really dressed up as who wants to be sat in a taxi wearing sexy stuff you'd wear at a swingers club and couldnt take anything to change into as there was nowhere to change

Just waking from after our first night in charge. The night was electric. We've been shadowing for weeks so we know what a good night and a bad night felt like, but last night the place just seemed to buzz. It was flat out for the entire team from 9pm till 4.30 when we let them get home, so firstly a massive public thank you to all of them.

Secondly, if you can send us your thoughts on the place in private mails, we'll address them one by one, and give you some insight into what we'd like to do, however publicly, we will add that toilets/showers/changing/lockers and entrance are all being looked at as number 1.

What we don't wish to do is dwell on the past, and reasons for it. This for us is the future, and we'd like to look forward with your expectations pushing us along. Old memberships, old issues, old grievances, are all that, things of the past, its the future direction we're trying to sort out.

As for launch party, we have a few big things to celebrate this year, so will try and get a specific date sorted for diaries.
