I’m sure this has been posted before but;

Does anyone else think that you should have to be photo verified before your allowed access to the site after you have registered?

We have changed our settings so that we can’t be contacted by anyone who’s not photo verified but when your having a browse of the profiles you come across so many and there isn’t a way to not show them! Very frustrating. Especially when 60% of the “women” on here are guys looking for pictures with their fake profiles

I have sent a message over to the site team but if everyone else was to do it to then we might get somewhere....

What’s everyone’s thoughts?

The advanced Search option might be where to look, as that has a "verified genuine" option to select so only those that are genuine will show in your search (doesn't stop them assisting when you just browse normally though, sorry)

Yeah we do use that but just in general flicking through there isn’t anything to not show the un verified

Totally agree.. if you search single women aged 20-35 I would go as far as 80% are not verified, a blank profile or stolen pics. Most of which will be men trying to pic collect. But this is the world we live in now. I personally don’t reply to anyone that’s not photo verified at least and even then I’m sceptical

We've had contact from someone that had "dubious" pictures on and when we ran them through a reverse image Search there were loads from a porn site that wasn't the profile. We pointed this out to them and they've removed them now but we certainly won't be meeting them now.

We also think it is funny that you look at profiles that have no profile picture, but they have public pictures lol.... why not just make one of them the profile and be done with it

It doesn't take long to do so I stay away from profiles that have not been verified. And as other people have said, there are quite a few fake profiles out there. It's a minefield sometimes

I didn’t understand the importance in this when I first signed up. It’s making sense now, even as a newcomer, to see helpful threads like this one.

I signed up (unfortunately) just before lockdown, and I’m genuine, therefore I’ve got no personal veri’s. But I’m not sure I’d want them publicly visible anyway. The photo verification is enough, hopefully?
