For make up look at tutorials on YouTube, there are loads. The golden rule with make up is always apply less than you think you need, you can add more if you want to.

What sort of thing do you want to know about lingerie?

Plenty on YouTube but look for the ones that concentrate on each part of the face. So look at eye makeup then maybe blending in to remove beard shadow etc...keep them in a playlist and practice.

It takes time to get ‘ok’ at doing your makeup and a lifetime to be really good

For lingerie, for the bottom half your looking to go 1 or 2 sizes smaller than a female, you need to keep your junk in and this helps or you tuck it away.

For the top half, either a breast plate or silicone breasts are your options. Choose according to your height / build so the proportions are correct.

Go for a fuller underwired bra, that way you can cup the whole breast and it stays in better.

YouTube YouTube and YouTube. Specific makeup for men helps too. Plenty practice and expect to look like a d*unk clown from time to time! Good ouch and you’ll be looking gorgeous in no time xx

I learned from YouTube.

There's thousands of tutorials detailing everything.

Then it's just a case of copying.

It took me about a month to find the best colours/style that best suited me.

It's just trial and error

Honestly with your foundation, too dark and you’ll look orange (see Trump) or too light and you’ll look pale and it won’t do the job covering beards areas etc..get the foundation right and the rest is practice. Get the foundation wrong and no matter what you do it’ll never look right.

Once everything opens up I really advise going to have a makeover at a place that specialises in transformations. First time just go and see what you can look like, maybe note down a few ideas / products. A lot of them do makeup lessons too, so maybe second time around go this route and learn about face shapes, contouring, blending...

YouTube is great but sometimes having someone tell you what colour foundation works for you just helps that little bit more!

There are a number of ways

YouTube .... as others have said - loads of tutorials

Dressing Service ... find a local TV dressing service. They are are great place to start and will apply and show you how to do it. It was how I started my journey years ago.

Make up Counters .... whether you go in dressed or not, the ladies in make up counters are really really helpful ... if you’re brave enough, many will give you a make over. One thing I would do is go to Boots and get a foundation colour match... that will really help you get the right colour for you. Again they won’t mind if you are either make or female - when I got mine done I was in male mode.

How long is a piece of string? The makeover business varies wildly depending on whatever they want to charge. And it's not always you get what you pay for either. Worth looking around and see what you can find.

I get make overs all the time. I've been to 5 or 6 beauty salons for mine. Not every salon will see a TV so its best to ask first

I also get make overs done in the likes of Boots or Debenhams. There is no quick fix to this. A lot of it is trial and error but at least these places steer you in the right direction regarding the right types of foundations etc that suit your particular type skin. There are so many different skin types and complections

And some cheaper products actually do more harm than good.

Yep I agree. Make up for TV's is entirely different than for cis women...

Watch Ru-Paul UK Drag Race (Season 2 just started... Woohoo!).

Conceal and exaggerate... But if you're dressing to go to Tesco, then maybe tone it down a few notches...

While true if you wear make up all day (I'm full time, so wear makeup to work) but if you're TV and dressing for the night, I find even stuff from Primark or Superdrug would suffice.

In fact some of the eye shadow palettes, while I love some colours and not others. But as I have them, I've been experimenting with golds, silvers and metallics and they are great fun for a night out.
