Why so many fakes??

Is it just us that attract 'fake' couples?

Recently we got chatting via messages to a 'couple' for the best part of the evening , apparently they were both there , only the messages were clearly from a male perspective and seemed to come across as a single guy looking to speak to couples .

The profile had been active over a year, yet only 2 pictures , and no verification of any kind at all ......... Also couldn't accommodate, which isn't a bad thing we guess, as we can't as we have a 70 year old living here too .......

Also we were in chat a while back and got talking to another 'couple' who agreed to use MSN with us , however it soon became clear that as their microphone was 'broken' and they were changing positions rather quickly , like as in one millisecond , it was yet another fake, just as well we only sat and watched instead of joining in the cam fun .....

Why do they do it???

Unfortuantlly theres a lot out there who come on just for "kicks" or to collect pictures.. time wasters are so frustrating!

I think it's the thrill of the chase! They get a kick out of it, time wasters are ten a penny on here, but there are some lovely people too?

you would think so but we have been members on and off for 5 years and they seem to out number the genuin ones but when you suss them out just block them

same happens to us lads. Single fake females, likely bi married men getting kicks. Fairly easy to spot, as you say, conversing from a mans point of view. String em along, fuck em.

Because when it starts off as a genuine conversation you don't realize until the cracks appear in the story they are telling ....

It once took me a month to work out a couple I was chatting to was just a bloke on the prowl. In my defence I was new to Fab at the time, but sometimes they can be sneaky!

Sometimes true, but I was on here (and met other unverified people) for ages before finally getting verified myself.

i guess its quite easy to spot fake couples...ensure that if they say they are couple, ask them to switch on their cam ( even they dont want to show face), alteast u will know that you are talking to both.... no cam no chat...simple

not all couples, where the male does most of the work, are fake.

EM has kids, and shares a pc with them, so WONT log into this site at home.

she only gets on here when we are together, on my laptop, s i have to do all the legwork.

but then, i do tell people they are talking to me, although they usually stop talking quite quickly after i do, so maybe i should pretend too.

I agree with the sentiments here; I try to be as honest as I can in my profile, even if it removes the 'no married guys' from my list of possible contacts... It also means I don't have to start any future conversation with 'well, actually I am....' The meets that I have had were relaxed and enjoyable for all as a result. Be upfront guys - there are people that will be interested in you!

Sorry to be critical, but the lack of verification for a COUPLE after even a month or so tells me they either aren't what they claim, or they're getting their 'kicks' without meeting.

As I'm in the 'process' of returning to FS, I make a point of mentioning the verification issue in my profile as it IS a big deal.

We all learn the hard way, but you need to go by your feel sometimes and if it feels 'wrong' it usually is - if that's the case - pull the plug!!!!!

Keep at it - it's worth it in the end...

With respect, I think you need to hone your questioning technique and get to the issues which are important to YOU as quickly as possible - we all know what we are here for so cut the 'chit-chat' to a minimum and ask some searching questions early on - if you don't like what you hear, pull out immediately. I do, and I may lose potential meets as a result, but I would sooner do that than expose myself (no pun int.!) to the lunatics who haunt FS and other swinging sites..... Once again, sorry for being so critical

many reasons why there are fakes.

Sad, lonely, how they get their kicks.

And of course, those who who are really in a relationship, but hopping to get a freebie now and again.

You have to go with what you feel bout who your chatting to, hate to think there are desperate people on here who think 'any hole is a goal' or 'any port in a storm'.

Or the females who are easily charmed by smooth talk

Sadly this site is not alot different to most and has its fair share of fakers/time wasters and dreamers

FS is slightly better because most of the fakers you can spot by the lack of varifications as that is the one good thing about this site

Just note the amount of 'single fems' that register on Saturday nights (normally after the pubs are shut!)

Why do they bother, theres something for everyone here..
