I love cheese. I have eaten so much of it recently. Not sure if it's the cheese or the current situation giving me the very vivid dreams I'm having at the moment.

Catthorpe

With truffles in it like Moliterno al Tartufo or truffle brillat savirin. God I hate lockdown, can't buy it from the Birmingham french man who sells it super ripe.

God I love cheese. I'm so glad the Liverpool cheese company still does delivery so I can support them while getting my fix of cheese.

Favourites are a goats milk camembert, Munster-gerome and delice des cremiers, but last time I placed an order I got some gubbeen thrown in there and that was lovely too.

Brie drizzled over a black pudding and crispy bacon salad.

A chunk of wensleydale with a slice of Christmas cake.

Sofe cheese on a cracker with a slice of cucumber on top.

Yes, I like cheese, a lot.

Love many different types, but two standouts are:

Ossau Iraty - lovely as parts of a meats and cheeses platter with crusty bread

Butler’s Blacksticks Blue - stunning cheese! Brilliant crumbled over a spicy chilli or partially melted on top of poached egg and crispy chorizo on ciabatta
