Bareback after lockdown

A lot of people talk about what they will do differently after lockdown ends. Just curious will anyone play rules change regarding bareback? We have been a bb couple since we started, just curious to see if people will have changed views. We will carry on as before

I love bareback with couples who enjoy bareback fun but also I go for regular checks and I also use condoms what meeting couples that are not into bareback fun. In the end it’s up to the couples themselves but I find more cuckold couples like bareback because most cucks like to clean up

I know it’s personal preference, but I don’t know why you’d play such a lottery with your own health with so many STI’s being incurable?

I’ll stay safe and play safe with new people and would only go bareback with someone I’ve been seeing a while after testing.

Bareback requests are like a filter for me as to whether I want to meet them. If they ask for it, no chance.

Why are people obeying lockdown to stay healthy then advocating taking major risks by having unprotected sex with strangers after lockdown ? Whilst bareback feels and looks so much better is it worth the risk ? With some std's now becoming drug resistant do you want to take the risk ? We wont be going bareback...

You’d sincerely hope that people wouldn’t be playing at all if they’ve a herpes flare up. Condom or no condom.

Using condoms is just eliminating a lot more risk. Like not going out as much now. Yes, chlamydia, for example, can be passed through oral sex, but it’s far less likely than through unprotected penetration.

As I said, if you’re happy to take your chances, especially with the incurable ones, such as herpes, HIV, HPV (genital warts and leading to cervical cancer), and hepatitis B, crack on. It just won’t be with me.

Perhaps if all the bareback players had their own little ‘lockdown’ and put a jonny on we’d not be seeing a 600% rise in gonorrhoea in 10 years and it’s mutation into super-gonorrhoea, which is getting resistant to treatment.

As I say, it’s just a useful filter to me although I do find it mildly selfish.

This man is correct it’s facts. It’s documented. Surely we can all remember the adverts in the 80s. The dangers are still there. The biggest rise in HIV infections isn’t with gay men. It’s heterosexuals in their 50s. The people that are coming out of long term marriages and shagging with the help of the Internet. And it’s not just you that suffers. It’s your family and friends. Is the sex that much better without a condom? Not enough to lose it all. See how hard it is getting a shag once you’re infected.

Use Skyns for example. No latex. My ex has heard every excuse under the sun for not wanting to wear them, so has a vast selection of sizes and types. If it’s still a ‘no’ then they’re shown the door.

We chat regularly about it and it’s amazing how many people have a reason to not wear them.

I don’t get your point, if there is one? Can you not use condoms for anal? I always have, perhaps I’m doing it wrong?

As for the others, its a far reduced risk and largely more prone for male to female transmission.

Ordered one today, go to a walk in clinic every three months but local hospital one is shut at the moment.

This did cross my mind a while ago actually, with everyone stopping play for longer than it takes everything to show up on these tests, wouldn't it be great if we could get as many on the scene as possible tested, treated and guaranteed clear now?

Wouldn't that be a bonus for the scene in the long term?

If you had a very close clique of couples, then bareback may be safe.

However if you are playing the field, surely you have a responsibility to prevent to the best of your ability the transfer of stds.

Ive mentioned before on another thread that my brother went to a bareback gang bang. Caught syphilis and hiv. It nearly killed him.. Yet he still fucks and goes dogging. As he passed on both stds to his wife, i haven't spoken to him in years out of disgust.

There is no “bareback” option, you can be someone that can play either way depending on circumstances.

I enjoy bareback (tested, on prep) in some circumstances but have a “safe sex” by default and find it offensive when someone try bareback without discussing it. So I would put both on my profile if the option was available.

HIV and syphilis is a nasty combination and the treatment for syphilis If you have HIV is not pleasant.

Thankfully people can now protect themselves against HIV by taking one pill a day, which I’d recommend to anyone regularly engaging in bareback sex.

Im confused by the connection? COVID isnt sexually transmitted so why would a lockdown change your thoughts on bareback?

Someone further up said it shows how quickly a virus cant be spread ... yes but every virus is different and you cant base one on another so again no connection

I cant see the pandemic changing peoples sexual behaviour unless it had given them some sort of anxiety about being around other people again full stop which would really br a mental health issue to be worked through with a therapist

This isn’t me advocating bb , i always get tested before reaching that stage with a monogamous partner just saying I cant see any connection between lockdown and bb

As mentioned before, the risk is far, far reduced. It’s also more likely to be passed from male to female or male to male. And you’d dearly hope someone with a herpes flare up, when it’s infectious, would have the common decency not to be playing.

As I see it, if we're all in favour of observing the current (and let's face it, harsh) restrictions in order to 'save lives and protect the NHS', why wouldn't we do the same with our sex lives?

Worth remembering that contracting an STI will (for those of us who use it) add a further burden to the NHS, taking up time and resources, etc. And let's not even get on to antibiotic resistance.

Surely, we all have a responsibility to take care of our health, whether it be staying home at the moment, or wearing a condom when having sex with multiple partners.

"If you care about Corona virus and maintain social distance to break the chain then I am sure you would have similar thoughts about HIV too.

Gloves and condoms do the same, prevention and minimise risk."

Bearback. Now there’s a challenge and probably only marginally more dangerous. Grrrrr

I'd say in an ideal world - a disease free one - EVERY man and most women I'd imagine would much prefer to go bare.

However that is not the world we play in and whilst we as a couple would both really love it, (can't beat the sight of cum dripping out of your wife!) in the real world BB is just for me and her exclusively sadly.

Back in the dark ages when we first played - pre AIDS days - wow we are old, it was a different game as a course of antibiotics could sort things out but there are too many nasty diseases around now to risk it unfortunately. But those parties in the late 70's and early 80's...wow!

Don't want to be the SDI police but I think cumming inside is an intimate thing shared with someone you love etc . I'm not really in to kissing someone on a first meet either .condoms are shit though And break on me a lot .

"Im confused by the connection? COVID isnt sexually transmitted so why would a lockdown change your thoughts on bareback?

Someone further up said it shows how quickly a virus cant be spread ... yes but every virus is different and you cant base one on another so again no connection

I cant see the pandemic changing peoples sexual behaviour unless it had given them some sort of anxiety about being around other people again full stop which would really br a mental health issue to be worked through with a therapist

This isn’t me advocating bb , i always get tested before reaching that stage with a monogamous partner just saying I cant see any connection between lockdown and bb "
