They get sick of people who don't meet set criteria contacting them, playing along until something slips in conversation and they realise they've been wasting their time, so who's been rude? Do they waste more time asking him to explain or just fuck him off?

Or yes sometimes the couple are dreaming lol

There and to the left a bit

"Yes but surely a thank you but no would be more polite "

In normal polite society it would and of course that *should* apply here too - but unfortunately there are a lot of people who don't take rejection well (whether that be after the first message or the fifty-first) and get abusive and vile when it happens - so some people err on the side of caution when it happens and just cut communication and block.

I'm not saying you *would* be like that OP but anyone conversing with you won't know whether you would or wouldn't so take the safe option just in case if they're not interested.

It shouldn't be like that but sadly it is one instance on here where the minority *do* spoil it for the few.

There's not a lot you can do about it either way other than accept they're not interested and move on.

useally it is not the couple but the person contacting being fake and as the poster says becomes apparent with time
