Am I a dreamer?

Everytime we have a weekend away I always sign up to the meets section with details of what we're looking for etc, but we never get any interest, my partner says I'm a dreamer for even putting this request on. Am I? Have you ever met anyone on a weekend away? Btw we're going to Ilfracombe next weekend!

I don't think your a dreamer, and your not the only one to badly paraphrase John Lennon........

I guess it depends where you go to, Ilfracombe, while being a tourist place came across to me as a sleepy little seaside town, that was very nice, but probably isn't a hotbed for swinging, but I may ofcourse be wrong. If you had a weekend break in say London, the Midlands or the North West to name just 3 areas with lots of people living in and around and a large number of swinger clubs, well you may get more joy on your quest.

Best of luck anyway with your couple search, if you were ever up Liverpool way and fancied meeting a single guy just for a drink, well give me a shout.....lol

when you say you never get any interest do you mean you dont get any messages or you dont get any mail from people you want mail off?

I have put meet today requests up and not got a meet from it, not thro lack of mail but simply because noone has messaged me that ive been interested in

They may say that you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one. We hope one day you'll join us and ..............

We just don't get any messages! Well maybe it is because we're visiting the sticks as opposed to the smoke! Oh well at least we tried!

I wouldn't say you're dreamers, but not everyone likes the "travelling salesman" type of meets.

I do find it strange that people with a lot of exclusions seem surprised when others don't contact them. I say that as someone with more exclusions than the op...difference is I wouldn't be starting a thread about it.

But hey ho...we are all different.

Ilfracombe

Ilfracombe is a wonderful place to visit, and I know this for a fact as I live there!

I have met a few couples who have come down here on holiday before, it's one of the advantages of living in a holiday town.

But as for a hotbed of swinging.... Well we get by but I wouldn't expect a mailbox full of messages.
