Having a forced break from the scene has made us take a fresh look at things.

We've realised after many, many years of great - and some not so great of course - experiences in the scene, we had slowly but surely had less and less activity/interest.

So that has us - mostly her - thinking it might be time to hang up the hold ups and heels.

At what age do fabbers think it is time to stop?

I still think my wife is hot as hell and has a great body but she has lost a lot of confidence in recent months solely to the ageing process I believe.

This is despite receiving interest from quite a few younger guys on here.

I'm keen for us to continue but she of course should have the final say.

Honest comments please, not just smoke blowing!

Agree OP...you're wife looks amazing....i was on before i hit 50 and had a ball, now at 51 i'm just over the hill to so many, shame..... there are still some great looking 50+ out there

Too old, bollocks lol. Your Mrs is hot as an overheating furnace in hell. Mr here, will be 61 in May and only started swinging a couple of years ago. Plenty of life left, maybe a break and come back raring to go. God luck on any decision you make.

There are so many variations to swinging.

We find its moving more into the social, holiday, party type of meet.

But attending a gangbang is brilliant..not been to a club for a while but feel we may be too old.

We have found some clubs tend to cater for the 'very young' and is more of a social meet, playing, if it takes place is usually a lot later on.

While we still get fun out of it, will carry on.

Love Cap D'Agde holidays, even if it's just naked beach days it's such a sexual turn on.

Weirdly only thinking of this a few days ago. I was in Cupids in January and noticed a guy who must have been pushing 70 sitting in a corner. I remember thinking I didn't want to be in a club at that age. That said he was fucking massive and got snapped up by an older couple.

I guess it comes down to an individual's mind set and working equipment?

Can't say I am missing the clubs at all. I would miss the lifestyle though.

Over a number of years I've had fun with people of all ages (from 19 to 69) For me its as much to do with attitude than anything else.

If your wife's attitude/mood dictates it's time to go then so be it.

Physically...from your pics...I'd say there's no other reason.

As a woman only a year younger than your wife who is hot by the way ,its a choice to be made as a couple ,but i do understand her lack of confidence as i suffer periods of thinking we are too old for here hubby is 65 ,but thank god for regular meets who prove to us we are not ,but let her have time and decide when the world is back to "normal" getting older as a woman is hard no matter what you look like ..

Speaking as a woman who is older than your wife I'd say the time to stop is when she wants to. She will find that outside of clubs the people who want to meet will be fewer and fewer as your age increases anyway.

I am 59 and still up for it, but then my OH is 25 so still lots of incentive!

Randomly i was doing some work on a posh mobile home site a couple of years ago. Most of the residents were over 70. A very revealing chat with my client (driven by her i should add) turns out that the residents regularly played swapsies...

What makes this older women want to hand my swinging card back isn't lack of attention, this presumes I'm only doing it for a morale or confidence boost and I'm not, but "type" of attention. It usually concentrates on my age as being the thing that is attractive to the person contacting us rather than any of my personal or physical attributes or implies that I will be grateful for a young guy with stamina. It begins to feel as if I'm some sort of charity case or number five on someone's bucket list (older woman... tick). I want to meet people who see me as an equal in sexual terms and they are very few and far between.

Wow, some great comments on here thank you- I hope reading these will give her the boost she needs although I do fear her mind is made up and I obviously respect that but it does seem a waste as I know just how good and enjoyable she is!

To those of a similar age who have responded and said you sometimes feel the same way, just so you know, imo you are all still very attractive and "fancible" to me!

I hope we will get back out to clubs in the future (once allowed of course) but if not it's been one hell of a ride! Best wishes to you all.

if you were in a club nobody would ask your age lets face it..... age has no relevance...... if you're sexy and up for it then you'll achieve it and you look gorgeous for your height

What really makes me quite sad is that so many of these comments seem to evaluate us older women's worth in terms of our sexual attractiveness. I know this is a swinging site etc but it isn't a shame if we no longer want to swing, it doesn’t mean we're somehow worth less. We're so much more than sexually attractive beings

I'd have thought the length of time you've been doing it would have a lot to do with the enthusiasm you continue to approach it.

Someone swinging for 10 months may well look forward to it more than someone that has done it for 10 years.

Maybe try a holiday where you can be naked on a beach.

We do Gran Canaria and Cap D'Agde.

The sexually charged atmosphere is wonderful and even if you are not swinging all day long, nobody actually is, the naked days on a beach or around one of the bars with pools attached, the nights wandering around in sexy clothes, chatting and maybe playing with others, singles and couples is a different experience to anything you can encounter in the UK.

Maybe give it a whirl.

There are people I know who are in their 80s and from the way they look, I’d gladly try my chances with them if I met them at a swingers’ club. Yep, honest. It’s nothing to do with the number. It’s to do with how you feel inside. And also, as one of the moderators said, even if one stops wanting to swing, so what? You don’t stop being somebody attractive or a nice person. Fab allows your profile to search people aged from 18 to 99. So I guess 99 is the limit. If you are 100 years old and still want to swing, you're too old.

Val is 64 and still has the pick of any men and women she wants when she goes to a club what she gets up to in Maspalomas Dunes and Clubs in PDI most women 40 years younger wouldn't be able to keep up with this lockdown is driving her crazy. Age is just a number.

Our combined age is over 140 and we have been "in the lifestyle" for over 30 years. Until this Covid crap interupted life we were still very active. Cant wait to get started again.

Just wish there were more over fifties around.

a quandary, could you change my mind?

Sometimes I feel to old jumping on a scooter, a skateboard, bouncing on a trampoline, swinging on ropes from trees and other times I don't.

Its sometimes about the thoughts of what others might say, well that's when I try to say to myself sod it I want to so I'm going to.

If you want to carry on doing something you like then why not, you might feel that you want to do it less. If you enjoy doing anything, don't let others tell you that you are to old.
