Oooerrrr previously it would have been a simple new one on and a trip to sexual health clinic next day but I honestly don't know what someone would do now

You can't get to see a dentist so I don't know if walk in sexual health clinics would be open as before

For the morning afterpill can go to most chemists, they have to be registered and certified to distribute the morning afterpill without a prescription from a gp.

For tests have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks before getting tested and it's recommended abstaining till the test results before having sex with someone else or making sure condoms are used

Sexual health clinics are still open. Dentists are also open but seeing urgent cases only. Emergency dental cases where infection is risking health and sight are referred to a & e.

Our dentist isn't seeing any patients. They prescribed amoxicillin after a telephone conversation. (Last thursday) Took hours to get through on the phone to reception and then had to wait for a call back

It’s happened to me several times, but somehow I’ve felt it and been able to pull out every time.

In 2020 when they have soo many contraception options, condoms should be a second option, no excuses you old enough to have sex you are spoilt enough to have the nhs providing you with the luxury of peace of mind. mr has been snipped and I still have the implant (and all the rubbish side effects that come with it) and still use condoms. We also gets screened every three weeks after a play because no matter what you hear here, oral is still risky. And if you’re too lazy for this there’s the after pill and even a jab to prevent hiv in emergencies like a split condom. So boys and girls, own your sexuality by being prepared.probably the most mumish post but I just don’t get it, we are lucky enough to be protected (reduced) and enjoy as much as we want, why wouldn’t you

The father was my then partner - my ex. This split condom incident did not happen in a swinging situation. It happened with my then partner, a long time ago now. We didn't realise it had split - other true fact that its not always entirely obvious.

Once, with a new partner. I was on the pill, so mostly worried about STIs. Got tested a few weeks later and all was negative so it turned out fine.

Most purpose made ones will. Its things like baby oil thats no good. The standard laytex condom will split for sure. The polyerethane ones are more durrable. Thiner to.

To answer the op. Last time it happened to me I just made sure I had my normal monthly checks. No need for the morning after pill as already take contraction.

Most clinics arent doing tests currently.. or at least I've been told unless I have any symptoms that I cant have my normal testing.

You can get tests online sent to you to do at home, I have done so since on lockdown x

I think they meant they’d not show while it’s in there. Of course you’d know when you withdraw. They’re usually in shreds.

On the occasions it’s happened to me, I have occasionally noticed it seeming more ‘lubricated’ and then pulled out to find it broken. I’ve never actually climaxed with a broken condom.

Years ago I had a condom split during a threesome with my wife and our then girlfriend.
