Women demanding pics but refusing to show any themselves?

I get quite a few messages from women and couples asking for facepics, which I'm always more than happy to oblige (random message is always a nice surprise). Then when you ask to see a facepic in return to figure out if theres a mutual attraction, they either refuse or send something blurred/covered up.

Single guys often get the blame as timewasters, but I think women and couples can get be pretty bad too!

Anybody else?

The way the supply and demand works on the site, for anyone interested in a single male it's a buyers market. We once opened our profile and what we were looking for to single guys and in 48 hours had approximately 100 messages. It was overwhelming.

This inevitably means people take liberties with single guys. It's not right and it's not fair. But when you've got so much choice, it's not all that surprising.

We ask for face pics, purely to see if we would like to take things further, already having read the guys profile in full. If we immediately look at his face and either one of us think, no not for us, we can't see the point in sending ours as it is not going go anywhere. We always delete the face pics etc with the email. We always send an email to the relevant person and say thanks but no thanks. We have only ever had a couple of guys, who have taken sufferance to this, but of the main they have replied with thank you for the reply. As mentioned earlier it is a couple's and single females market, if that is the right terminology to use. Sorry if this offends but, we would rather be truthful with the person sooner rather than later.

I don't think its fake profiles, often happens with veris too. You're right about it being a buyers market, so not replying is an unattractive option too, its funny that some people still dont want to show their face even while trying to organise a meet. I'll have to see it at some point haha

YOU have time to waste! Why organise a meet with someone you've not seen? If people like you stop encouraging the fantasists they'd soon tire and move on elsewhere. As it is, single guy baiting is an amusing sport for some!

Whats this 'buyers market' people are talking about? Does everyone think couples and single females peruse the site like a menu, picking and choosing? If blimmmin only!

There are more men without profile pics, whether its because they are 'still waiting for them to be approved' (a year after joining the site!) or they have 'a high profile job' (yeah sure!). I have lost count of the amount of men who message me without a pic, even though it says to attach one on my profile. If I like the sound of their profile I'll given them another chance and ask them for a pic. 9 times out of 10 they don't have even a private one to attach to the message! That's just lazy IMO.

Not trying to have a pop at single men by the way. They're the only people I meet on here now. But when single men think that its just so easy for the others on here then I have no sympathy. Its not easy at all, and I have to work at getting meets too!

Not showing face pics for job reasons is fair enough and it doesnt need to be people in high profile jobs. Public servants ie police officers, firefighters, paramedics, doctors, nurses etc, etc would all get in serious bother if discovered on here. Give people a break, some of us are actually being honest!

Im happy to send a face pic to people that I want to meet

As much as I respect that people want to value their privacy as I do myself blind dates are not my thing and I would'nt expect anyone to meet me without seeing what I look like either

For every person that does'nt want to send a face pic theres far more that will so its not something that is huge issue for me

With regards to people demanding a pic and then not sending one back,we maybe they have looked and decided that there is'nt any interest so chose not to send one in return,it happens and we know that as adults we won't all find everyone attractive

I do not and never will accept that it's a 'couples and females market', unfortunately some of the guys that do become subservient and some of the couples and females that believe this develop traits of arrogance.

The arrogant and the subservient will often find each other.

Read a profile the other day that stated they would not reply to any people with a silhouette, guess what, that's all their profile had and no pictures at all!

But when they do; I utilise the block button. Wy would I show my face to someone I have no intention of meeting?! The ones that really bother me are the ones who send a pic and I am interested, but they don't ask for a pic back...why would i want to play with someone who clearly has no standards in terms of the looks of their potential playmates?!

Some people will think they are entitled to a piccy by return....its not that hard to understand BUT if you dont intend to meet it shud have no value to them....thats all unless of course you agree in advance to return one...then you shud send if its agreed in ADVANCE x

Cant say I agree with that.... first part reads like injured pride at rejection... I use thanx but no thanx somtimes....and If a guy insists I will send a self piccy...just a diff one to when im interested.....fair to self....hard to others....if we all took that formula onboard we wud all simply be mean to each other.... asking for a pic by return in ADVANCE is a good strategy tho chels xxx

I'm afraid I would almost never send a face pic without having seen one. As said by someone above, if I am not attracted to someone and am not going to meet them, I just see no point. People are more than entitled to decline if they don't like sending one first! I'm not a pic collector and would always respond politely. And I would insist on sending them one if I did want to meet them.

I actually do have quite a high profile job (!) and it makes sense for me to keep myself to myself a bit. I wouldn't go to clubs etc for the same reason

We prefer to keep our swinging very discrete. If we sent face piccies to every interested male then we wouldn't be able to walk the streets without being confronted.

Sorry if this seems unfair to single guys but like many couples, we've learnt from experience.

If we choose to contact someone then we will always attach a face pic. Doesn't matter if they are a couple, single male or female. Wouldn't have the cheek to ask them to send theirs first if we had initiated contact.

Same as if someone chooses to contact us first, we would expect them to attach a pic to their mail.

Cant say I've ever sent anyone a message (that I dont already know) but I have face pics available for friends to see, if I think I might meet with them, I stick them on my friends list, then they can see all my pics.

A profile with a picture helps.

But for some reason you may not want to display your pic.

When a couple or a female ask for your picture, just send one.

If they want you they should send one back without you asking

But some as so rude that they ask for your picture then block you without even saying why or at least be polite with the easiest excuse of " sorry you are not my type"

I remember the lady who sent me almost 9 messages. I end sending 2 pictures, Her reply was " OMG you are too cute , You will not go for a girl like me in a night club"....

I got a good one the other day. I offered my services and said I will send a face pic to see if I tickled their fancy.. They replied and said I was good looking and offered me to join them in a hotel room as long as I brought a bottle and 25 quid as a share.. I asked for a face pic in return before I decide. To which they replied "we don't send face pics"... Anyone else had such a 'great offer'

also had a local 'girl' contact me , ask for pics & when I asked if she had any (none listed in private) got a load of abuse and 'do you wanna fuck or not'!! lol
