"Can anyone help us with this please?.... it was working fine Thursday then when we tried to use it yesterday, it wouldn’t connect to WiFi, keeps saying Invalid IP address! Any help would be great. Thanks. X" Your laptop is not getting an IP address. In simple terms an IP address is a unique number that gives you Internet access. You get the IP address from your Internet provider. It is given to your laptop via your router. From what you have said I would Switch laptop and router off. Put router back and wait 5 minutes. the put laptop back on. If that doesn't fix things Check you wireless dongle is installed ok and working on the laptop. Check all the relevant lights are on in your router. If you are on virgin media cable internet check with them that there are no outages/problems in the area. | |||
