I don’t have a scar? I had mine done in a ‘No scalpel’ clinic. The doctor used what is basically an electric solder iron with a red hot tip, which burns through your skin, and vas deferens tubes, cutting and cauterising at the same time. Painless and simple. When the time comes, ask for the same

This is true! My "scar" is almost unnoticeable, and I have to really look to find it (all smooth down there). It does blend in to become almost invisible. Years ago, I understand they split the scrotum down the middle and went in that way, then changed to two incisions. Mine was one incision to the left side and all done through there. So I'd have to say with more recent snips, a scar would be quite an unreliable method to prove it.

Anyway, maybe they are being honest or maybe they are lying but isnt it irrelevant? It only matters if you have unprotected sex but will not protect you from any other disease or infection transmitted sexually

I had it done a few years ago. No scar, it was such a tiny piercing rather than a cut, though every now and then it does get a bit red and sore.

I had it done because the mrs said she wouldn’t have sex with me unless I did. Ironically we only had it a couple of times after anyway before it stopped.

It’s only a contraceptive though, offers no protection against an sti/std (What’s the correct term these days?)

This was made quite clear by the doctor at the start so I doubt the men claiming it’s ok to go bare back are saying this out of ignorance, more likely they are hoping you are a bit silly.
