in love with ex mother-in-law

I've recently developed strong feelings for my ex mother-in-law after a recent lengthy social encounter. She confessed her feelings for me and after thinking about our conversation I think I may have developed feelings for her. She's 32 years my senior and has discussed her sexual needs with me and her understanding of our different sex drives and is "willing to let me see other women".

I want to tell her I'm bisexual but concerned how she might react.

Is this a total no-goer? Any help greatly appreciated

Absolutely a no-go. If this isn't a made up story (which I expect it is) then you should realise the damaging implications this will have on the relationship between your ex and her mother.

If not...there's something wrong with you. On what planet will this end well?!!

REally depends how ex the ex is and if there are children involved...

If there are then stop imediatly...daddy fucking grandma is only acceptable in certain moutain states and rural norfolk

Seriously, its a big no no then

If the ex is off the scene, and the mum in law is single...you will get lots of shit, but if u love each other go for it. You are not related and love can strike anywhere.

She is his ex...why does she still have any say in who he dates?

I'm thinking down the same line as you with the children, but about the family as a whole. If this guy were to get with the mother, the whole family might break up over it and particularly if there are dependent kids in the middle of it it turns into a bit of a general mess.

Admittedly if my dad ran off with my ex he get a high five rather than resentment, but i'm more open minded than most :P

If I recall correctly a father in law can marry his sons ex/widow but a mother in law can't...

Not sure why!

Exactly - and since he's bi - if it doesn't work out with the mother in law - there's always the father in law to try next!!

possibly Biblical, as the father in law would be expected to provide for the widow.

Given the fact that you have already had a conversation and discussed the issues it might cause with your ex, sex and not forgetting the huge age difference, I am surprised that you were not totally honest with her and told her anyway

And to be honest, the age difference is already a no go for me anyway, whether its just sex or a relationship
