Near Wellingborough

I'm having major surgery tomorrow which will put me out of commission for the next 6-8 weeks (probably won't want a meet for a while afterwards while my scars still look really red).

My profile says that I'm not looking at the moment and I'm just here for the forums but do you suggest that I just hide my profile for the next few months?

Please stay, you will need something to keep you entertained and the forums are full of fun people to chat to. And we are a 24 hour a day bunch. X

No! I’m not meeting but I don’t hide. You can block people from messaging you if you prefer not to receive any.

Good luck with the operation op . But Why hide? Stay on for the forums .

If people dont read and see your not meeting that's there problem just ignore or delete the 'asking to meet messages'

To be fair they would probably ignore that part of the profile with or without the operation.

I've been out of action the past 3 months due to an operation. It's different for men as we dont get bombarded with emails anyway but fab has helped me through the past wee while just to kill boredom.

All the best with your operation and wish you a speedy recovery.x

Very short-sighted of them. Most things worth having are deserving of time and effort. The people it will be worth your while meeting will be happy to be patient, I would think.

But don't hide because of others, only because it suits you to conceal your profile.
