OP first up you've only been here a short time - so if your expectations were that it was going to be as simple as signing in to get to meet people then you might need to reset those expectations.

Contrary to what some might say, IF you go the right way about the site, adopt the right approach, attitude and expectations, along with a well thought out and written profile and decent pics, it doesn't have to be hard and whilst it won't guarantee anything it will certainly make your experience of the site a better one.

It really is down to you to find the formula that works for you though, but there are more ways than just blindly messaging people to approach the site - the forums and the chat rooms are a good way to get to know people and them you, likewise clubs and group socials.

I would say this though, if you think of it as "hard work" that's exactly how it will seem - lower the expectations and adopt the right attitude and approach and it won't seem hard at all.

And yeah geography can play a part, but being willing to travel can address that to an extent and widens the net a little - but it *does* also come back to what I said further up about approach, attitude and expectations being right too.

I suspect that when you say that you can’t get a meet. You really mean that you can’t get an instant shag....

Hate to break it to you but Fab mainly just isn’t like that (Though I’m sure there are exceptions to this)

It takes time and a shed load of patience.

Attend socials and go to clubs.

Arrange your own socials that always a great way to meet people.....

It doesn’t need to be anything complicated just a simple meet in a pub for a few people and you will find out who you click with...

I’m sure even you could organise something like that...
