The sexual health clinic asked me if I wanted the Hep B when I told them I was a swinger. I had a full course of injections but it didn't take so I wasn't imune but on second course now.

because some people cannot get the immunity, its not as simple as an injection and oh im safe. Some people can have 4 courses of injections ans still not get immunity

I have had the same problem. On my second set of the 3 jabs, seems my immune system is ignoring the vaccination.

Sheffield

I had mine done years ago when I was working with the homeless. Every so often I get a bloodtest and occasionally a booster - so mine obvs took!

But it's advisable. Even if it does sometimes take more than one round of shots - its an unpleasant disease which is easily transmissible and there's a vaccine for it. No brainer!

bucks

it is best to have all immunity injections hep a and b highly recommended.

ask your gp or even go visit the local gum clinic most hospitals have a drop in clinic, they great for helping with advice and will always point you in the right direction

Central

I've had the A and B, and A should last 10 years, but possibly much longer. Obviously you need the full course of treatment, and immunity gained from A vaccinations appears to be almost 100% of recipients - and free on the NHS too.

I got the hep b vacations done at my gum clinic and they took first time. Think it just depends in luck if they work by the looks of it.
