What's the best way to find organized socials close to where I live? I want to meet people and let them get to know me. As a single male i find clubs are an expensive way to meet people for building up friendships.

I'm a polite and well spoken person and not dull in the slightest, so I've been told.

So an anyone help with advice please?

There's an events section in the forums, or just search your local area in the forums and you will probably find things that way, that's how I find what's going on near me.
