Rudeness

I joined fab when I was 18, I have been on and off here for approaching 5 years. I'm by no means a hardoned swinger, but i have a few loyalty points I shall say.

I've always understood couples and women calling the shots, you get many messages a day, I always used to hate how blunt some questions were, but after noticing some people get hundreds of messages a day its understandable really.

However on a few occasions lately. People have just been outright insulting.

In the last week alone, I've had some horrible insults regarding my looks

Futher, aggressive messages from people who don't meet "children" yet have a very broad age range, and have not clarified their criteria in which they wish to meet.

The latest one, I'm not even going to share because it absolutely disgusts me to the core.

My point is, to everyone. Just be kind. It's not just fab, the whole world (especially online) is becoming toxic.

There's no need to be rude, if you don't like someone, just delete and move on. If you want to say a polite no then do so.

I've met some great people on fab. I've also been lucky to have some great experiences.

I've always had a stiff upper lip, but these last few weeks has knocked my self confidence to a new low, and there was no need for any of it.

Manners make the the man(and woman) and I try and be polite to one and all but sometimes it’s very hard but you are correct and we should all spread the love a bit more.

Well, you are below the age range we'd be looking for, but if you'd messaged us, you'd get a polite reply if you've put a bit of effort into the message. Just saying "hi" means we'll ignore, but we cannot fathom why people would be rude. Good luck to you young man

Quite the theme today with the "be nice" threads.

People being pricks tend to need to look closer to home for the shitty person. It's usually their iwn crap profiles etc that need the work for sure.

Hi everyone

This is a very interesting (and welcomed) topic at this time.

In relation to rudeness on the site my conclusion is......people get so much attention they let it get to there head and clearly can’t handle the attention hence why they are no longer grounded to real life.

Example

If someone comes into fame

There’s media training

Come into huge amounts of money

There’s finical training

Cos they know people can’t handle the transition.

So I think it’s the same here people can’t handle the transition from “not much attention” in real life

To huge attention here.

It’s no excuse coz it’s ridiculous

And we never know how people will take/handle the abuse/put down or whatever.

but that’s just my conclusion

I find it puzzling that if someone has what the reader believes is a crap profile. This is a good excuse to insult them.

What crap. It's just opportunistic bullying.

OP. The law forbids the eradication of ignorant fools. So like a cow pat we just look, down step over them and move on.

The,re even worth the maths of why?

I much prefer people showing their true colours earlier rather than later. It is also a very good sign of intelligence and social skills - if people cannot communicate effectively then they will very likely be very poor lovers.

Replies I've had have be honest and polite I can say my confidence remained high lol. The only awkward one was when I received a block because I wasn't keen on going to an adult spa. Weird.

OP the tide will turn especially if your messages are like your post. Being kind and polite count yes somtimes no or a block is required but as you say rudeness just reflects the character of the other parties.

Only if you let them.

As a single guy on here I called my own. You're not at anyone's beck and call. You make your own choices and engage with who you choose.

Sometimes people let themselves be treated as a second class citizen on here. And that's the biggest problem they'll have on site.

People never stop and think the effect there words comments might have on people !!

Oh that’s quite sad to read, I’m sorry you’ve been treated like that, no need at all I always endeavour to be polite even when people have messaged and clearly haven’t read our profile. Kindness costs nothing and a simple but polite no thank you is sufficient.
