St Austell-ish

This is not a "look at me" post, but a "look at my profile" post" !!!

I've been here before, and am not looking for more attention. I would like a bit of honest feedback, mostly from women and couples (though men's opinions are also welcome).

I have enough attention from those I am looking to meet, but am wondering: women/couples--if you were having a social and I wanted to attend, what would you think of me based on my profile? Does any sense of humour show through?

I am aware I have no public pics (have never had the need to post any), but from the write up, would you welcome me to attend, or would it be a "meh."

I am, as stated, only looking to meet men, but would also like to make friends of all sorts.

Your profile other than the obvious with no photos. Your profile blurb is making people work to hard. You sound like a demanding child. We were bored half way through reading it.

It is very clever but boring sorry.

Hi,

I read about 2/3rds and then got bored. I understood it, and a bit of humour did show through, but it was too long.

For me, a guy (bottom of the food chain), I wouldn't be interested. This is primarily because the profile doesn't say anything about you as a person other than what you're looking for and that you have a bit of a sense of humour. Also, I think you come across as a bit demanding and I'm put off my that. To add to that, there's not even a picture, so it's an absolute no-go.

As regards women, they are fewer and even fussier, so it's not looking good there.

I'd say, at the very minimum, it would be good to upload a pic.

I think your profile sounds like someone looking for chat and attention but without revealing your appearance and will be unlikely to actually meet as the conversation will tail off with everyone. You sound like you will be chatting till that date you mention ( can't remember now as I'm tired but was it April ?)

We are all at different stages and some will be happy to chat and let imagination fill in the gaps. Here's the thing though - you are asking men to spend a lot of time messagimg, without knowing what you look like...and this is someone you'd like regular time with...without knowing if there is facial attraction. Not everyone has strong needs for facial attraction I know but I'm going to guess that there's still a 'hell no' level or a 'sorry but I'm not attracted to you'. How many men are you going to chat to before choosing one ?

What kind of man are you hoping to attract, your profile is amusing but also I feel a bit defensive/demanding, it's not actually that long but it's somewhat of a clunky read, a little too contrived maybe ? Maybe bring out the 'you' a bit more ?

I didn't think it was too long, and your sense of humour does come through the profile text. However, although you state you are not lacking in interest, I think that you are limiting your potential by not having any public pictures.

I feel a lot of people would be put off by a lack of willingness to supply a picture

I think the problem with long profiles is that men only have a very short concentration span...and will just end up messaging you dick pics and 3 word questions...

For those who have read it all like me....it's a great profile.

I got the humour, it's a very common type of bio for dating sites so I find it a bit tedious. Even if you've never found the need for pics id recommend a few, just so people can get a look at what they are getting. Right now you're coming across as dated in my opinion
