Should the profile bio be swapped for FAQ’s?

It is a source of much frustration on FAB when you have a decently written profile bio and its disregarded and/or ignored. Would it be better replaced with a FAQ section?

Questions such as: Who do you want to meet? What kinks are you into? Can i just meet your missus? could be covered

Sometimes profiles can seem a bit ranty or have endless rules so would a FAQ section break up the information more and save a bit of time and angst?

Opinions please

It depends on what you want really.

For me personally, if a woman starts a rant; lists of regulations, and comes across as a bit of a bitch, I ignore and won't message.

However, a lot of men simply don't care and due to the ratios of men to women on here, I assume you'll still get shit loads of messages anyway.

It depends on who you're looking to attract.

Try a FAQ instead. The long profiles with list of demands can come over very negative.

Hillside desolate

I've seen some profiles actually set up like that, I'd be interested to know if it's made a difference for them. I suspect not.

Manchester (she/her)

I doubt it'd make a difference. It'd still be words to not read.

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

Doesn't make any difference what you write as some folks seem to think that a profiles preferences don't apply to them.

Some struggle to understand 1 word responses like No.

So good luck if your doing a Q&A

I dont think a FAQ can replace a bio. It doesnt allow any personality to come through and who decides what questions to have? You would never please everyone. I do think a FAQ in conjunction with a bio would be good though. Maybe make it an extra tab in a profile for basic Q&A stuff then anything personal to you can be done in the bio.
