Hi Everyone

I was wondering if anyone could have a look at my profile, and see what I can do to improve it?

I just don't seem to be getting much luck on this website, and not sure where I'm going wrong so any pointers would help.

You’re just new so be patient, tailor your messages to the recipient and sooner or later you’ll find success x

I suspect you're falling into the same trap as the majority of men do when first joining fab, in that you've created a profile, uploaded a few pictures and then sit back and wait for the offers to come flooding in.

You've only been here 5 weeks.

That's nothing.

Most men wait around 6 months to a year to get their first meet. Some fair better, many don't.

Even those of us who have been here several years still struggle to get replies.

I'd suggest you check out the site FAQ's. No-one owes you a reply.

Think about all those takeaway menus that come through your door.

You didn't ask for them.

Do you phone up all of those establishments just to tell them that you're not interested?

Single men outnumber women and couples by around 100 to 1.

Many women get hundreds of messages every day.

Do you think that they really have the time, let alone the inclination, to reply to every single one of them?

No, they'll only reply to the ones that they're interested in.

You've got a pretty good write up and your pictures aren't bad but just consider that not everyone is going to fancy you. It's nothing personal, and it's not a reflection on you, it's just a fact of life.

You might even find that the people that you're interested in might not fancy you and that those out there that DO fancy you might not necessarily be appealing to you. Another fact of life.

It doesn't mean that you're necessarily doing anything wrong.

Most people will check out your profile before even thinking about reading your message. If you don't appeal to them, then they'll either leave your message unread, or just delete it.

You won't even know that they've looked at your profile because most women view in stealth mode

You just need to realign your expectations of the site and be patient.

Some really good advice here, thank you. I didn't even realise there was a stealth mode!

I was just curious if my write up was offensive in any way, or could do with being improved.

I think your profile is fine, the fact that you don't accommodate might be an issue but the rest is OK.

Stealth mode is simply where you select the option to be hidden from 'Who viewed my profile'

If you view someone's profile while hidden and later change it so that you are visible, you will show up on all profiles that you have viewed.

In other words, it's not selective

Don't need to know your job is good pay or not..

I would look at that section and rewrite. Great about mental health but condense it.

Look at how you are n what you can offer setting a scene..

Im sorry you just don't look fun to put effort to reply as us women get over 50 messages. You need to stand out and only approach a woman you think you could gel with. (by reading her profile first)
