Apologies if this is just me being a noob in the swinging scene, me and my wife have been in the scene a few years but as we have been selective on who we meet we have only had a handful of meets. So far we have only met couples for foursomes but my wife is interested in meeting separately and I wondered if there is an etiquette to this. Any advice would be helpful.

We don't meet separately but I would say that the same etiquette applies as when you meet together. Agree mutual boundaries and stick to them, agree boundaries with the person /people you're meeting and stick to them.

Also be prepared for your wife to be more in demand than you.

We do this in club wife can play with guys. Only rules if she playing in private rooms doors must be left ajar. The only guys I let her go with outside of club are ones I have met and trust. Either wise it's a no no

Sorry maybe I should have been more clear. She wants to find couples who want to trade for a night. Not meeting as a single but closer to separate room swapping but not restricted to the same house

This makes perfect sense. It's partner swapping but not limited to the same building.

I'm sure you could find couples who are looking for the same thing but I would imagine that most will want a social with all parties concerned at the very least, more possibly same building swap initially

You're inside the M25 so your odds are slightly higher than others. I'd suggest searching couples and contacting any that you both like the look of and going from there

My partner and I meet separately as well as together,

Maybe get her a profile of her own and cross reference both profiles so people know she is in a couple and has permission etc.

Be totally open and upfront and set limits ie things you might want to keep for yourselves.

I used to get loads of messages from guys asking to meet Emma alone. Had to block them after a while. The problem is finding someone to meet me.

If I understand I think it’s where we are heading. It’s the best scenario I think. You don’t need single profiles, she will just get overloaded. Talk to separate room couples, use nice big locations, and weekends away, get to know them, it develops, it gets close anyway and each 4 person relationship develops very differently. Just be clear whether you go out completely separate or not and organise individually or not - we don’t

The scenario you suggest isn’t for us but I can see the appeal in it. Have known of a similar situation which went downhill though as not all parties were honest with each other for the reasons behind wanting to swing that way. If you can be sure everyone is on the same page and there’s no hidden agendas, then I imagine you could have a lot of fun

Dont rush, be open and honest and you'll find the right people.

For is to do that there would have to be established trust there first.

Safety is always such a major consideration in those scenarios.

Hi! It sounds a little this is being over thought. You're still meeting as a couple in that both sides need to be attracted to the other. Just that the play will happen in separate rooms (in different houses).

Going about this with singles profiles could be counter productive as you'd still then need to introduce the other half and explain the dynamic.

It's possibly something that would be easier to establish in a club with a couple you like the look of. Start off with same room play or separate if you're happy. Then move on to sleep overs?

Just make rules up your happy with, when we first did this we said that we would only meet the same couple three times, we would not talk about each other to the other person and we would talk about how each other’s meet went when we got back, it worked well but we found we prefer playing together.. but that’s just what we did, it’s pretty much common sense stuff just tell the other couple your boundaries before meeting

I have been part of couple and all was OK till we tried separate meetings. Our relationship wasn't strong probably and this done a lot of damage. So please be careful x
