Hi guys im looking for some advice for pictires to have only my profile, what makes pictures more attractive and what would you want to see in a males profile picture that would tempt you into sending a message? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I got told off for having too many females in my pics, so maybe stick to just you in them. I would also say that getting yourself known in the local scene is a good idea. Get your name down on the next social in your area and go along to meet people. Veri's that your real go a long way. Good luck mate

Ah thank you so much for the advice! Im quite local to a club so may have to pop down to one and meet some people there

ill take that into consideration with people being in them

Arty body shots.

For me it's more about what I don't want to see.

Women in men's profiles

Bathrooms

Dicks (but some do, but arty, not a close up of it looking like a toadstool! And not loads)

Messy houses.

It’s hard one but I’d just go with pictures you like and feel do you justice, you’re not going to please everyone on here

Easier said than done. Never realised how hard it is to take a good picture of myself. Trying to do all the right things while attempting to press the button on my phone.

Ah I didn't say it was easy. Have you got a timer function? Also you can crop it afterwards too if you have bits you don't want in it.

Prop phone up and use timer.

Your current photo is pretty awful.

Have a look at some of the popular male forumites to get inspiration. Arty shots are good, suits, photos that leave a bit to the imagination etc...

I hadent even considered using the timer... youre a life savee

Ah I didn't say it was easy. Have you got a timer function? Also you can crop it afterwards too if you have bits you don't want in it."

Some really good suggestions... im a sucker for suits so think ill have to include that, thanks for the tips!

I took a video of myself and then screen shots, which seems to work well. However I can't edit them in any way, so that is the real me, no photoshop

They work. They're arty and tasteful whilst still showing you.
