Why do we have to get old ,yes it happens to us all ,but only just starting to enjoy this journey ,but feel i should meet with a bag on my head (with a hole to kiss as love it ) as its older looking than my body ,face cream aint working no more its not miracle cream sadly not looking for sympathy but ones who have done this longer how do you cope with the inevitable age catching up

Well your both looking great for your age you have nothing to be ashamed of. Im same having a gf 18 years younger i dunno what she saw in me but she loves me no less now and regardless how more wrinkly i get so thats sweet. I just let things go the way ageing goes no point in holding back nature. I don't dye my hair or anything like that for example. Way i see it if people cant accept and love you for who you are then they are not worth your time or meeting.

Jesus i looked at your pics before i looked at your ages...your bodies are at least 10 years younger that your age and your minds are younger than that again.

Ye have a great atitude in life and i admire you both for it.

I don’t think about it ... only when it’s mentioned to me by someone else . Very rarely do I feel my age mentally or physically ... I attract younger people anyway even in the normal world ha ha ????

You embrace it, and thank your lucky stars that you aged gracefully; opposed to those that went seeking plastic surgery, and now resemble said plastic bag.

People's perception of aging fascinates me tbh ... we all age at exactly the same rate (minute by minute), we can't do a thing to change it or beat it (surgery is negligible) and it's not guaranteed to all so every day is a blessing not to be wasted! Older people who claim to be the same as they were 30 years just mean they have wasted the last 30 years!! I find it funny!

I am nearly 52, I look nearly 52 because I can't look any different, I feel nearly 52 because I can't feel any other way and I wake up every morning very very glad to be alive and happy to make the most of that day I have ... regardless of what pain I'm in, what's going on around me etc!

Let's all celebrate whatever age we are because we'll never be here again and so many never get the chance!

Well said.

as I said above, growing older beats the alternative and I agree that we ALL look our age because that's the age we are.

Amen!

I was pretty crap at 20, 30 and 40. By 50 I was having the time of my life. I'm 55 now: my mind is much filthier than when I was 18 and without the inhibitions. I intend to go to my grave disgracefully and happily.

Really?

I joined fab aged 45 and feel I joined at exactly the right time in all honesty! I feel that joining at a ‘mature’ age has helped me to keep one foot firmly in the real world - which is something I think some people on here struggle to do! X

And on a personal level - I thought you looked really great when I met you recently!

40 is round the corner for me and I wonder what the damn hell I’ve been doing with my life! I only found fab and the life style about 2yrs ago in total.

But I can’t change my age. There is no magic wand to reverse life and do it all over again.

I would say enjoy it for what it is and what will happen in life will happen and it eventually it does. So just go with the flow and don’t let society dictate where you should be

I'm already afraid of death and I'm only 18. I guess it got to me that I've already expired one fourth of my expected lifespan and I've accomplished nothing.

I feel old.

Dont fear death...its the next stage of the journey. ..all the questions u will ask in your life...is there a heaven..is there life after...all this u will only find out when going tho the door called death...and if theres nothing. .you wont know. So dont worry..life is for the living..not the dead.

And you could pass tomorrow there for today would have been most of life live..so ..dont fear death..fear life its here ..and being a tv..you have beaten "the inner head " already. .so u have done something. .and we could all do more..but we the swingers choose ..sex..

Sorry typos in last post. I think the best thing is just to accept we are all going the same way and our youth and looks will fade. However that does not mean let yourself go, eat well, go to gym and look after skin. Age like a fine wine

Not much that you can do, as you get older meets on here get less and less if any at all, if we get chatting you get a feel for the person so looks matter less as the personality shines through. I think back to my grandparents and how they dressed with the cord trousers, t jacket, flat cap and a pipe ( and that was grannie lol) ,think about us, jeans, tee shirt and hoodie, yes our age makes us old but our outlook to life keeps us young.

Finedon ,

Lots of people on here in their 60s and still enjoying swinging, my last two meets were with ladies who were 64 and 65 respectively.

My motto has always been Adventure before Dementia but now as I approach my 80th birthday the mind still wants the adventure but the body has other ideas, had to happen at some point I suppose.
