The issue is your anxiety, so learn coping skills to better manage similar experiences of any type in future. The more you develop your skill, the more your ability will improve, like most skills that we repeat do.

Any issue with others is usually better dealt with when it's not in the heat of the moment. We can't control others but we can give feedback and request that they consider us in future.

Maybe some yoga practice would be of benefit too.
