Just wondering if anyone could tell me if you can take sex toys in your hand luggage when flying with easyJet?

It’s not in their list of ‘no’s’ but didn’t want an embarrassing situation ??

We often get searched when on hand luggage only flights, lulu always takes her vibe and usually puts it in my bag lol. Bit embarrassing 1st time at happened but the staff are cool and usually quite discreet.

Believe me, people take all sorts of toys in hand luggage and security have seen them all before. If your bag gets selected for a search just ask to be taken for a private search. It happens all the time.

I once took a glass dildo, anal beads and lube in my hand luggage when I was flying to Germany to visit my ex fiance on camp. I was only there a week so only took hand luggage and didn't think twice about packing some toys in there until the security guy was pulling them out of my bag at the scanning area for everyone to see. I was mortified!

Dunno, but I know I took a whole bag of toys etc, and it was customs that made me empty my whole bag into a tray and go to the back of the queue, 'because there was liquid in the bag'. A tiny bottle of lube!!!!

We rammed large and I mean MASSIVE dildos into a mates hand luggage when we flew last year....had the laugh when it was opened and repacked it! Toured for a week with it and brought it home....no issues!

Customs are only interested in you when you arrive

That would have been Security and yes, if you have liquids in your bag it should be pulled off for a search but as I said above, you can always ask for a private search.

Not fully related but thought I’d share!

We were in Crete recently staying in a lovely resort. On the day we were to return, we had our suitcases loaded into our taxi and we were leaving the resort when the gate buzzes to the driver to wait as we left a bag behind. Then comes a golf buggy with a member of staff carrying a bag full of dildos and sex toys smiling like a Cheshire cat.

year's ago when me and hubs went to Amsterdam for a long weekend it was my first time so I brought loads of toys like 30 items lol hubs brought loads of naughty dvds anyway on the way home landed at Bristol hubs went straight thro I got stopped the customs guy pulled me to the side and ask me to open the case and surprise lol he was cool in the end but the reason I got stopped was not the toys it was a round cheese and some dutch sweets ... he knew the toys were there because the case was xrayed before pulling me over lol

Speaking from experience....

I went to spain for a holiday and didnt have any hand luggage. My gf said as i didn't habe any she would take 2 and i could carry one for her....

Well the airport was packed. There was an issue at the airport meaning half the security was closed. We were filed like cattle down to the trays and metal detectors. I put the bag on the tray with my wallet money and keys. I went through totally ignoring knowing i wasnt taking anything i shouldnt.

Then it happened.

I was taken from the metal detector over to where the bags were emerging from the hole. Stood there was a security guy and a mean looking woman who had already opened the bag i was carrying. Stood next to the bag was 6 of the biggest dildos and rabbits from my gf's collection. Her hand went back in the bag and pulled out a mass of jumbled bras that were obviously for sex play and not wearing out. I was mortified.... there were now hundreds of people looking wondering what the hold up was. There was almost a silence from around us where everyone was watching. Then i realised my gf's mum and dad, cousins and aunt were also agog with what they were seeing. I hoped that the security woman would pull out a kilo of just so id get pulled away...

The security woman put her hand back in the bag..... she then looked right at my while pulling her hand out... in her fingers was a proper metal set of handcuffs..

Don’t take handcuffs security will try and take them off you, said they were classed as a weapon when I took them, I pleaded with them to let me take them as it was part of Wills birthday present so they went to get the boss, the nice boss said I was allowed just that once as he didn't want to ruin any birthday celebrations but told me don’t do it again

The woman then said 'you can't take these on the plane' she then handed them to the guy who hung them from his finger tip.. he held them up so everone could see. There was a loud roar from the crowd. The woman carried on searching the bag without pulling anything else out. She had obviously found what she was looking for.

After she asked me to repack the bag but my very red faced GF stepped in and did it.

They started scanning again and they gave us the bag. We were taken away to fill in a form letting us know the handcuffs had been confiscated but the would be put in the hold and we could collect them at the other end. We all went through to duty free a bit red faced.

In the end they were not worried at all about the sex toys except stuff that you shouldnt take on anyway....

You should try returning from a trip at Hedonism when the drug squad decide to do a whole plane luggage check...suitcases opened in front of a plane full of people, the two girls checking ours had great joy in holding up the following for all to see...

Sex Toys, Thigh High Boots, School girl outfit, Fetish Gear, Etc. get the picture? Good job we have a sense of humour lol as being discrete wasn’t part of their job description and funny how our luggage got lost on our next trip there, hmmm makes you wonder!!!
