"Depends what you're looking for. A collar is a symbol of your bond and commitment much like a wedding ring. I've known everything from a simple necklace, a bracelet or an anklet. You could be as simple as a cheap chain, a torque necklace or bangle (lockable or otherwise) if you're feing flush and she's so inclined, a Tiffany necklace with a lock on it is a poignant symbol but also super acceptable to the general public (and with some people brings serious bonus points for coming in that duck egg coloured box)"

"I dont really see how a collar could be discreet. Your best bet for discretion is an anklet or bracelet in my opinion." I think they are using discrete to mean the collar will not scream of bdsm and submission. But it is to be visible when worn in public.
