It's weird isn't it? I don't have a jealous bone in my body. Can't understand it and it's such a negative, toxic emotion. Don't understand that someone's fear will allow them to stop someone they care about having a good time!

Yes it does work but if you can't get your head round it and freak out at the thought of talking about it you're probably best off not doing it.

Chat to a few people and try and understand the dynamic involved before trying again

We meet as a stag / vixen sort of couple my hubby loves to watch but loves to join in too . He knows I adore him and would always be coming home with him . We have no desire to be in a relationship with anyone but each other and the swapping is just sex plain and simply. We leave a meet and go home and have the most amazing sex but the swapping is just a very small part of our life together .

Depends on the couple.

We had our first soft swap on Thursday, it was the first time another man has touched Kitty since we started this journey.

I (The Boy) was pretty sure I wouldn’t be jealous and most of the nerves were on Kitty’s side (I’m only her 2nd ever male sexual partner).

However, the hottest thing from that night was watching the chap take her knickers off. I’ve done that so many times before and it felt like in my head I was saying “yes go on, enjoy her.”

I think most lifestyle couples will be ok with jealousy and if you said to us that you were nervous about this we would reassure you and modify our behaviour to make you comfortable.

We only play with females my choice (fem) as I don’t want to play with other men, I get asked all the time about being jealous , I just don’t see it like that, I’m getting to have just as much fun

and on my terms...totally agree with what was mentioned by some one else...jealousy is a very toxic emotion and can cause so much heartache and grief x

When I was married i found when we played as a couple never got jealous ever the element of her doing things behind my back hurt though but playing together was so much fun really it should have proved emoticons are wasted on sex

We are in this situation time to time. So man typically enjoys any type of fun.

Woman often when see her man having better fun than herself can become jealous.

Example: I was having great fun, lots of fu***ing and “provided” great oral to the lady, where my wife played with the man (that lady bf) who was just crap, did not know how to even lick a pussy.

That’s what puts me off - in case I do something to annoy the female.

I do however think if I was part of a couple playing then the ‘reclaim’ sex afterwards could be immense

I am the least jealous in my relationship. My Girl is the one out of both of us more prone to jealously. For example she is not ready to see me fuck another woman yet. Everything inbetween but not that yet. That's why we'd class our selves as soft swing. Personally I know My Girl is completely mine and I'm very secure in that. So it gives me a freedom from jealously leaving me with just a desire to want her to have an awesome time and explore her sexuality. To be fair she wants the same for me but just finds it that little bit harder than me. But we are getting there as we grow in the lifestyle.

Not that I'm not impervious to jealousy. I have had moments, I think everyone does. But normally I simply step back, take stock, rationalise it logically and then all is good and clear again. To be fair (and maybe this makes me sound selfish) but normally my jealousy has more to do with a fear of missing out or a fear of someone else getting the best from her than it does about any fear of her desiring someone more than me.

Just think about it, if Mr would get jealous why would they invite you to join them in bed in the first place? No jealousy whatsoever. We always play together, never alone, this helps avoid having 'toxic' thoughts

Meet with your selected couple for a social meet first, so you can make sure they are laid back and easy going so you won't have trouble if you end up playing at some point. A social meet will give them the chance to get to know you better too, it just gives the opportunity for all of you to have second thoughts.

It’s incredibly difficult for single guys, not in the lifestyle, to understand the dynamic.

Our first experience was with a couple - same room swap. What I, male, was totally unprepared for was how hot it was seeing your partner have sex with someone else. For a while it was distracting to meet couples as I was so busy watching L have fun.

We then met single guys so I could just enjoy the show of her having sex with someone else. There’s not really any jealousy.

Our view is that jealously is just insecurity that the person may be stolen away by the new partner. For us we’re both very sure that won’t happen. If you’re relationship is rock solid then why would you deny your partner different sexual experiences that you can’t give her or can’t have as a couple.

So people with veris who have met single guys are not likely to get jealous of you with their partner.
