I recently went for my regular checkups

It was at my local hospital

It was effortless

Form to complete x

Can be anonymous if you choose x

Short wait x

In the consulting room - brief chat with the nurse

Then onto the bed for visual examination

Another health care professional was present for that

Then blood sample x

Results txted one week later x

So for piece of mind and your own sexual health safety - what’s stopping you x

Near Wells

My nearest clinic is over 20 miles away and nearly an hours drive away. Plus £5 parking and an hours drive back home again.

It means a half day off work and probably costs about £25.

That would put a lot of people of. Not me though, I go every 6 months.

I am surprised how limited and inflexible Manchester is with it since living here, can be a mission trying to arrange appointment and not many places to chose from.

That really surprises me x especially after Manchester’s open and inclusive nature

I’m north west based ( not Manchester City centre) and I had several places to choose from all within 15 mile radius x

Theres a scan in the ladies toilet at the doctors that you take a pic of and it triggers a pack being sent and instructions on what to do and postage included. Results in a week

Its not always as easy as that

Ive been using a postal service while ive been working away which is great (learned about it on here although i do have to pretend to be under 25 for it)

But in Glasgow its usually a 3 month + wait , after at least 40 mins on hold just to make the appointment (reminds me i should have booked smear ages ago!) and even with an appointment probably at least a half day off work with the time you spend in the waiting room and you have to call a results line in a weeks time

Before i had moved i actually had started just using the gp as its so much quicker but kind of defeats the purpose of having a sexual health service i guess

I go at every change of partner or at two year interval as recommended by the clinic. Always get bloods done too. I don't see the point until at least 3 months has passed since the last unprotected sex. That way the test is conclusive. Got 3 Local clinics all with 10 minute drive and its completely painless in out in 30 mins drop in times are on the websites, no appointment necessary

Free condoms advice etc and results in usually 10 days by recorded message. Always been clear of everything in 6 tests over 10 years odd. No reason to not get tested regularly..

I go to the Leeds GUM clinic with a booked appointment. When I book its not a long wait, I'll be in and out within 30mins. If I walk in I have spent hours in there. Its a great service and I applaud the NHS.

My local clinic is always busy, but theyve taken off the later appointments, made Wednesday a half day and made Friday and Saturday appointment only. Mondays are extremely busy closing hours before end of day due to the waits on walk in.

I enquired today when i got my results if i could receive an email of my results since the text they sent is generic and contains no info other than tests were fine but they wont email results. Il add i rarely get sent the texts even requested it today and wasnt sent the text. I asked if they could send it via post to which she replied you have to pay £30 on day of testing to get postal results.

Ive seen a lot of people get home kits the free ones sadly all you can get here is the chlamydia as far as i know and thats for under 25s. where as in surrounding areas can do full screen test kits for free so all depends on your city or county councils funding.

The kits here can cost up to £400 to screen everything each time.

My local clinic has stopped offering femidoms now i got the last 4 that was stuck at the back of a filing cabinet.

They dont stock dental dams. But depending who is on reception knows me well enough i get extra condoms even more during festive periods, bless their souls. although one she only gives 1 pack. Dont know if shes ever seen my records about being a swinger or not or shes just a miser. the nurses are quite happy to also stuff my bag with flavoured condoms due to the increase in infections of gonorrhoea and syphilis in stoke on trent.

so all in all stoke on trent has a few satellite clinics that are open once maybe twice a week for a hours but if you think you have something there is only one clinic you can go to. rest just offer simple screening not sure if they even do blood tests but i know some places around stoke on trent are offering the quick hiv testing for free though Lgbtq networks.

even if using condoms should get regular testing. more regular than you state if youre a swinger. not just when you have an accident or bareback sex. condoms decrease chances of catching an std but not eliminate them.

going to get tests quarterly would be smart thing to do or more often depending how much you think you could be at risk.

only Birmingham and Solihull, midlands is a huge place

i live in the middle of staffordshire but come under stoke on trent 2 separate councils how they deal with it there and here is different.

so saying midlands can get them free is incorrect

Ours does a half day and only have a handful of appointments it's ridiculous. But the online service you enter your post code, it tells you the local nhs trust in your area and sends it out in the post to do at home. No reason whatsoever for people not to do it

Here's a list of the main STIs and how long it can take each one to show up on a test:

Chlamydia – Up to two weeks

Gonorrhoea – Up to two weeks

HIV – four weeks

Syphilis – 12 weeks

Hepatitis B – three months

Hepatitis C – three months

Genital herpes – you can get tested when visible blisters or sores appear (but it could take weeks or even years for symptoms to show)

info for those who want to know how long it generally takes to show up

Syphilis can show up 10 to 90 days after infection in symptoms but not on blood tests due to the efficacy of the tests is poor. even at 90 days and secondary stage of infection its maximum 86% accurate in testing.

Heb b vaccines available to high risk groups. swingers and men who have sex with other men and the women who have sex with men who have sex with men .... you get my drift i hope.

no vaccine for hep c

PrEP available to those who are in at risk groups for HIV

So post exposure or possible exposure its good to get tested. at these times but if you go regularly 6 weeks to 3 months they cover all possibilities. Carry on using condoms and testing. only way to limit outbreaks like chlamydia which is more common in the under 25s and no one is immune to gonorrhoea or syphilis

il add also gang bang parties bareback have highest risks someone may have been infected and it wont have shown up in tests yet can infect everyone.

that time stated is how long it takes to show up on tests not infectious period after contracting them.

Not sure how I could get tested via the post?

As a previous poster said I'm honest with my sex life to the nurses etc. Most times I go I have blood tests, give wee samples and swabs of my mouth, nose and bum.

I occasionally have injections as well but I can never remember what they are for. If the professionals suggest I do something, I will.

I don't believe everyone who says they do it actually do. It's a shame really. It's one thing someone you are meeting lying when you ask but why bother lying on a forum about it rather than simply not posting? I don't get it.

I will probably get flamed for saying this, but my opinion is that the people who get tested the least are guys, followed by women, followed by couples. I think the couples generally do it more because there are two of them who knows the other one swings and has unprotected sex with each other, so they are more conscious of what the other one can pass to them. A lot of couples also have children, so they generally get tested more because their swinging can affect their family. That doesn't mean all couples do by any means.

I know Data Protection is an issue, but there should be an opt-in service for verifying STI tests online. For example, if I had a random ID like abc123xyz and could give out a pin number to anyone I wanted like 7890, they could go onto a dedicated NHS site, enter the details and it would list test dates and results. Nothing else, no personal names, addresses, locations, etc. As long as this is an opt in service you have to request, it is advertise as a "share your test results with others" type of service so there is no mistake what it is for, and sign a data protection waiver, I see no reason it couldn't be done. It promotes public awareness and sexual responsibility.

Most people get their text results texted to them. Totally respect your scepticism on this but I suppose they could send you a screenshot of their results with the date on etc, however as you know anyone is only as good as their last fuck and that could have been since their last results. Yes they are for hepatitis. They do this if you have had a lot of partners from outside of Europe.

No you wouldn't be able to do yours by post. If they believe you need to be tested for hepatitis they make you go to a clinic unfortunately.

I mean if I wanted to know if you were getting tested, it would be really personal and feel almost like an attack on you personally of I said I want a screenshot of your results to prove it to me. An actual official system for verifying results would take that personal attack feeling away. If it was commonplace for people on Fab to say Do you get tested regularly? Yeah of course here are my details to check online, the whole thing is less personal and more the norm or expected thing to do of that makes sense

It's a good point actually and something I'd never thought about before. A history of test dates and results would be good. God knows how it would work in reality, and I like I said before you are only as good as your last sex session, but at least it gives you a good idea if someone is genuine or not. I'm sure most genuine swingers wouldn't object.

id happily go to a clinic with anyone and get tested or if tested recently ring them on speaker phone and have them confirm them. il happily hold anyones hand if they are scared to go alone to a clinic.

they dont realise they can go to any clinic anonymously all the clinic needs is a phone number a valid one.

im not embarrassed to be seen in a clinic its being responsible and sex is natural shouldnt be frowned upon.

also accidents happen and shouldnt be ashamed of them.

if a person is scared about the potential results and not want to be alone il hold their hand and be there for them. since the clinic will inform you that youd need to come in, not sure if they would ring or text you this. but either way accidents happen

only people who should be ashamed of themselves are people deliberately spreading stds.

However always best playing with people that get tested regularly and practice safe sex anyway otherwise you'd never end up meeting anyone if you know what I mean.

Oh yes I agree.

I mean if I wanted to know if you were getting tested, it would be really personal and feel almost like an attack on you personally of I said I want a screenshot of your results to prove it to me. Although I don't believe half the people who pretend to be tested actually do, I think I would almost be offended by that if they didn't word it well and might not even meet them.

id love to be able access my own results with my id number then easy to show playmates and potential ones. plus also piece of mind when had a test i will know when i log in instead of waiting for the test or lack of text forcing me to call and be stuck in the call waiting, like today after 20 mins they answered and hung up on me wasnt best pleased took 10 mins get through again.

having access would cut out needing to call about results saving them time dealing with people needing to make appointments or queries

Blimey! That's a big ask. Time is money too so add what your time value is and that'll cone to some charge to you. Lucky for me mine's is a mile away. My last was done one day after work. I got home and just ran there. Was in for about an hour. Didn't have a visual though; I'd have thought that's for the doctor.

Anyone who thinks it too personal and unwilling to show a potential meet if asked in my opinion is a red flag. Why wouldn't you want to ease their concerns in a culture where, Gonorrhea is at it highest for over a decade increasing by 16% over previous year and a few other sti have increased as has HIV in certain sectors and area of UK, unless you've something to hide or haven't been tested. After all it's not just about you, it's also about them and any others you're playing with that it effects.

The sooner people take this more seriously and realise it's not just about them and their own personal use the better and safer we will all be. The place I go sends results as a txt message and that's why I go there. I have results to show anyone I meet, it also sits a a reminder of when I need to book again. It takes 45 drive and sometimes about an hr wait depending on how busy they are.

May not be the case. I get tested regularly at local NHS sexual health clinic and get the results via text message. My phone broke down over the weekend and now I'm on a new phone. That means I've lost all the messages, pictures etc that I had on my old phone. Including the test results. So now won't have proof until I get tested next time.

Personally I think this is a terrible idea. We do STI testing at my work and have had samples go missing in the post to the lab or people provide incorrect phone numbers so we haven't been able to contact them with their results.

If you can’t be shown the results then they don’t exist. My provider has an automated voice message system activated by a code, which I’m happy to share, but I also get a print out of the results, which has my name and date of testing which costs extra.

My local

Clinic is always empty when I go along which is every two weeks because I use another service within the clinic, at most there’s one or two people there and it’s usually women in getting coils etc fitted more than it is testing. I get my testing done at the doctors Every six months along with full check up for health issues so it’s easy for me, if I’ve had a call from a partner when I’ve been playing regularly with different people I’ll go for additional checks every two months, fortunately I’ve never caught anything. Only

Time I wasn’t getting tested was when o was with my ex husband, shoulda though knowing what I know now !

It's also why you can't trust someone because they can interpret the results as and how they wish. No evidence to say different. Just their word.

An online system might work, but I see big problem with giving someone a code to view. Imagine how many people would/could then start using any code given and use that info with another. Whose to say it's really yours?

I used to go to the walk in clinic for a test every now and then. They stopped doing testing there unless you had symptoms.

Now I do a home test. Just order one over the net. A blood and urine test is taken and sent off. Then around a week I get the test results through a text

I used to get tested in Bury Sexual Health then I went onto gmhome testing and got the results by text. It was an incredibly good service. I've had mouth swabs done and injections for Hepatitis A and B (3 injections) because I plucked up the courage to be honest about my lifestyle.

It's like a sex life MOT. It's a lovely feeling getting a reassuring text. Most of all, people need to remember there are STDs that can be carried without showing any symptoms so it's best to get checked out, even though you might be nervous when first going, it is an amazing service.

Just be honest about your lifestyle, you won't be judged and they can sometimes recommend extra precautions based on your lifestyle. And there is no judgement on older people being tested as there has been such an increase on people having sex for longer xxx

"Not sure how I could get tested via the post?

As a previous poster said I'm honest with my sex life to the nurses etc. Most times I go I have blood tests, give wee samples and swabs of my mouth, nose and bum.

I occasionally have injections as well but I can never remember what they are for. If the professionals suggest I do something, I will.

Injections are probably for hepatitis prevention, I've had them too, 3 separate injections x

Yes they are for hepatitis. They do this if you have had a lot of partners from outside of Europe.

No you wouldn't be able to do yours by post. If they believe you need to be tested for hepatitis they make you go to a clinic unfortunately. "

That makes sense, every time I go there they always ask about my trips to South East Asia.

I go every couple of years as a friend of mine runs motorcycle tours in Thailand. I get to ride around Vietnam, Loas, Burma and Thailand at a very very good deal.

But of course everyone thinks I go there for other reasons

We used to go to the clinic first year we played with others. We now order the home testing kit every three months and do all the bloods, swabs and urine things at home.

You go on line, answer all the questions and the appropriate kit gets posted to you.

You get a text to say it’s arrived (our last test to say it had arrived was 8/8/19) and your results about a week later (ours were both neg and received on 16/8/19) easy as and done in the comfort of your own home!

When I was in a relationship we didn't get tested that often as we always played safe and I continue to do so. My last test was Tuesday and I'd be happy to show it to any potential meet but I think it's important to get tested regularly especially as you can catch certain STI's from oral.

I have a text message also as 'evidence'. You'd probably have to formally request results but a negative on a 'recent' text message should help a great deal. Nevertheless, they could still carry an STD as the test is only as good as last visit. Regular testing though indicates seriousness of the matter so perhaps a red flag if someone is not tested.

"I recently went for my regular checkups

It was at my local hospital

Can be anonymous if you choose x

Short wait x

In the consulting room - brief chat with the nurse

Then onto the bed for visual examination

Another health care professional was present for that

Then blood sample x

Results txted one week later x

So for piece of mind and your own sexual health safety - what’s stopping you x

Its not always as easy as that

Ive been using a postal service while ive been working away which is great (learned about it on here although i do have to pretend to be under 25 for it)

But in Glasgow its usually a 3 month + wait , after at least 40 mins on hold just to make the appointment (reminds me i should have booked smear ages ago!) and even with an appointment probably at least a half day off work with the time you spend in the waiting room and you have to call a results line in a weeks time

Before i had moved i actually had started just using the gp as its so much quicker but kind of defeats the purpose of having a sexual health service i guess"

Loads of clinics in Glasgow doing drop ins you really shouldn’t be waiting 3 months where are you going just now

I’m Birmingham there’s an organisation called “Umbrella”, full out a form online, they send a test kit through the post, donor all yourself, send it back and then they txt you the result. It’s so easy, done it 3x now. Bit of a bugger to get enough blood out to fill the capsule to the correct level but they provide 3 x prick thingys to get blood out your thumb.

Eureka, in Kent. ‘Bi night’. Have qualified nurses present, once a month. Test for everything and have lots of advice, all for free.

Totally discreet and quick results.

I couldnt find a full sti check postal. Just a chalmidia screening

"

They don't all do them! It's so annoying. My area just does postal screening for chlamydia but only for people under 25

Put your hand in warm water before attempting it, dilates the vessels meaning more blood flow before it clots. Cold constricts the blood vessels

Sandyford ... they run all NHS sexual services in greater glasgow and stopped their drop ins years ago

Both myself and my flatmate have regularly waited that long regularly for the last few years for testing, smears and contraception

They did send out consultations recently in changing the appointment system / times / types because they know its not working

Terrence higgins offer a drop in but its aimed at gay men and therefore only equipped for them too... urine samples rather than swabs, no bowl to use because guys can aim in the tube etc etc

That is shocking! No one should need to wait that length of time, normally people wanting to get checked have a good reason for it. And need it done sooner rather than later

The good thing about sexual health clinics is you can attend any clinic doesn't have to be local. If you travel regularly you can attend one and can be done anonymously. Check out ones in areas you frequent and they usually have websites giving details of their clinics they run and times and whether you need to make appointment or not.

If you travel you have more options to sexual health services.

The clinics in the towns by me are always so busy, and being a non driver living in a village, and caring for a disabled daughter with awful care provision, it limits me being able to attend. Free postal tests are not available, as where I live the nhs doesn’t fund them. However, you can go on freetest.me, and if your nhs won’t fund it, you can buy tests via their sister site test.me. The cost is reasonable (usually a 10% off code available) and the results are back fairly quickly x Viv x

My GP surgery via the NHS labs automatically include testing for STD's, when taking blood for other medical purposes.

I'm also on a Pain Relief Drug Trial and at each monthly injection visit, the Medical Research Company involved, take Blood for testing on site.

The latter company has also pre-screened me for all diseases, cancers, etc prior to starting this trial 2 months ago.

But I'm due to see a Urologist in 2 weeks due to a recent groin accident; they'll conduct a full health test there too.

Yup maybe this is why my clinic always empty the no drop in service anymore unless you’re under 18 it’s all by appointments but I’m ok because I have appointment for other services in clinic and usually always a slot available if need be because they also do emergency service which isn’t even used, pretty shocking though considering the vast amount of people being sexually explorative these days and more access to sites where online hook ups make finding sex easier

I was 12 the first time I went. I was so embarrassed when the Indian doctor sent me behind the curtain to produce a urune sample I couldn't go. Anyway, I said to him I couldn't and he said "Dry! Dry!" which I said "I am rather, yes." but I got there in the end. Later on I realised that the doctor was insisting that I "Try! Try!" and not asking if I was empty. I almost pissed myself laughing.

If I could have I would have.

I'm not embarrassed to go but what used to go through my mind is the episode of shameless where they go the clinic and Veronica starts talking about a woman in the clinic. It's not nice but that's what I thought happened when I went the clinic someone thinking "oh who would fuck her ... ugly cow"

Now I don't care what people think when I go even if they see me there regularly.

It's empowering I'd say taking control of your sexual health, knowing you're being responsible about it.

Some people can go through many feelings visiting a clinic. Be it embarrassment or scared or feeling stupid that youd need to be there and even angry at the situation thats took them there. But it helps with a supporting person you won't feel you're going through it alone. Also someone there for you if it's walk in clinic and the wait is hours, someone who can keep you company and not go insane from the daytime tv crap on a tiny screen

I know for some it's hard to ask a family member or friend so il be a support happily.

Much agreed try to get an appointment and they are like finding rocking horse shit allegedly they aren't possible only other option is to sit in waiting room for hours and watch people with appointments go in before you apparently appointments can be made for certain circumstances but not told what they are I guessed it was for the regulars from what I saw, I did eventually manage it however and it was quick and very efficient polar opposite to the process of trying to get in the room

Op , your discription is like your visits. Apart from, I fem, am aloud to swab myself. Don't have to get on the couch for anyone. Phone up a week later for results. Best bit is the goodie bag! Free condoms.

We've had a few meets, where someone has remarked " clininc condoms". Just goes to prove we go. Condoms are condoms, getting them for free is even better.

Urine sample can't be used to test for everything. That's why swabs are done and bloods taken. I suggest asking about making appointments for a full screen.

All you'd be tested for with urine is chlamydia and gonorrhea I'd hazard a guess probably only the chlamydia though.

Even though syphilis is bacterial it doesn't show in urine tests. Even blood tests it's only up to 86% accurate at 90 days after infection.

New Croft Centre in Newcastle great, walk in service quick fast can be a pain i know if you ar gay as your not allowed to use quick service as stated on the form not 100% sure why, as I still get tested for HIV they just don't discuss it.

But quick walk in pee in a cup and then few quick question and bloods.

Got the results in 24 hours but they advice up to a week.

Appalled they don't allow gay people to use quick service. I wouldn't be happy about that at all. Assuming would apply to bisexuals also.

The tests are the same, the advice is the same. So why on earth do they feel they can refuse?!?

I'm dumbfounded by this it's discriminatory to refuse services of this nature because of sexuality surely!?

If you are that appalled why don't you contact them and find out the full facts before you start slagging off the service as discriminating. They may offer a better service for gay men that is more appropriate to their needs. Don't forget to feedback what you find out.

I always get my ones on line, so the test and you get the results back in about 5/10 days via a simple text message. Don’t think everywhere is covered by the people I use (Essex), but I would not be without my peace of mind.....and come on....it’s not hard....a small prick (on the finger), pee in tune.....and you have the knowledge your healthy!

I think this service should be available to everyone free of charge.

Those who don’t get tested.....may as well go play chicken on the M1!

I wont be ringing them as i cant use their services since the fact im several hours away from that clinic.

Why cant someone who is not heterosexual use the quick services? What difference does it make doing the tests?

My local clinic has special clinics for LGBTQ teens on saturdays at a different venue. Thats the only difference, walk in accepts all and appointments everyone is accepted.

Regardless of gender or sexuality theres even staff on hand to deal with LGBTQ related info and support.

Id assume that straight clinic would still offer barebackers PrEP same as they would a gay man and Hep B vaccine just the same.

Medical tests dont make a difference what sexuality you have.

It's not like it's a gay man trying get a smear test is it. But testing which would be the same whether straight guy or gay guy

If you are that appalled why don't you contact them and find out the full facts before you start slagging off the service as discriminating. They may offer a better service for gay men that is more appropriate to their needs. Don't forget to feedback what you find out."

I went for a check and told the nurse about my ‘lifestyle’ she suggested checks every 12 weeks, which is fine by me, literally takes 10 mins out of your day.

Medical tests dont make a difference what sexuality you have."

Mixed clinics make sense but a separate male only or female only should cover most people whatever their orientation.

I am straight and can't really speak for the LGBTQ community but I do wonder what the majority of them prefer?

I think the most flexible options for all should be everyone's aim so there are no barriers to them getting tested and that will encourage more people to attend across the board.

"Not every clinic sends texts. Some operate a no news is good news policy"

That's why those are only good for the person going and of no value to others unless they completely trust you, which generally isn't a fab trait.

For those who say they go every two months or less, there are a number of STIs that don't show much before 3 months and my clinic said it was of no benefit going more frequently unless you were suddenly concerned, and then you'd need a second test to be 100% sure. Again why I go out of my way to visit the clinic further away that does send by txt as this helps with it not being just my word.

"Lots on here claim to get tested but don't there is a lot of "talk" but less actually going to get tested. "

I insist on seeing the text message with their results. When you’re a prolific swinger the minimum testing time is 12 weeks. I’ve heard many people say they’ve had their annual test . That’s mad.

I (f) was honest at the clinic and told them I was a swinger. I get every test possible and was asked to take part in a drug trial for PreP. They wanted females who lead a high risk lifestyle so I went on it. Which means compulsory checks every 12 weeks. If I wanted to get tested monthly I would have to pay for it as nhs don’t fund that. My partner does his by a home kit. He then gets an email with a link (pre-registered) to his results, he enters his password and his results come up. He then sends it to me. I forward my text results to him.

We get tested regularly 3 to 6 months generally and always willing to share the txt message with anyone thinking of playing.

"After reading about the postal tests i thought i would look it up as can be a nightmare getting an appointment locally.(usually travel as easier to get an appointment).

I couldnt find a full sti check postal. Just a chalmidia screening

"

You need to go in to the clinic and pick it up from there then you are free to go home. In the pack you have pots for your urine samples and a separate pot for blood you even get a lancette to prick your finger.

Oh wow, reading how difficult it is in some areas, I feel very fortunate that mine is so easy. I book online, go to my appointment and I'm never longer than 20mins, even my recent appointment where their systems were down, was still quick, only my text was later than usual, but still within the 7 to 10 days. I go every 3 months regardless of my activities, it's just a habit now.... I'd rather be safe than sorry, also been that anything done within in the last 2 weeks don't count for that test, and some stds can take 2 weeks before they show up.... So I'd rather go regularly even if its been a dry season lol

I'm lucky enough to have a NHS walk in clinic close by. No appointments and just takes 20 mins.

Off for mine next week, no walk in, just a call to make appointment. No fuss, no hassle.

Last time I went the place was totally empty. "

Last time I went it was absolutely rammed with people and I had to wait for ages. Due to go back soon but I'll make an appointment rather than go to the drop in this time.

6 weekly home test kit...12 weekly at a clinic while there getting my deppo injection

We're really fortunate near us there are lots of sexual health clinics in the area and an option for postal testing also

I take my health and the health of any sexual partners serious even though I only play safe except with hubby

I'd rather be safe than sorry

"I am surprised how limited and inflexible Manchester is with it since living here, can be a mission trying to arrange appointment and not many places to chose from. "

Rubbish. I work in the nhs and the sexual health centre on hathersage road is a walk in centre. No appointment necessary.

How does that work then? Do you take the blood yourself with a syringe from you arm like the doctors do? I am intrigued.

Does the test check for herpes syphilis etc? Or just HIV

Even quicker and easier to order a home test online if you can't get into a clinic. They make it so easy to get tested now there really is no excuse not to

It's a finger prick. Fill the bottle up that way.

Free. If you type in SH24 onto the search engine it should come up. Not sure if I'm allowed to post the Web address

"I always get my ones on line, so the test and you get the results back in about 5/10 days via a simple text message.

Read this thread from start to finish (thanks OP for getting it started). One of the things I started thinking about is why people get embarrassed about going to a sexual health clinic. We are on a swingers site, and most of us are trying to/ wanting to have sex with people who aren’t our partners at various degrees of kink. We ask people for sex, if we are lucky we get naked with some of them, we talk about/ live out parts of the sexual spectrum which many find taboo, yet going for a STI test makes (some of) us feel uncomfortable.

I hope that I am not coming across as invalidating anyone’s feeling, as they are something we have little control over. And I get how some people have complex relationships with bodies, sex and shame. And yes some people have ‘play’ personalities’ which may not be the one who has to go to the clinic. It just seems strange and contradictory. Am I missing something?

Thank you.

Dont always have the time to go to the clinic and booking time off work to do so eats too much into holiday allowance.
