Right ladies genuine advice from you,

hubby and I have always felt getting to know the lady first is best so everyone is comfortable but recent experience we have found that we have taken the time to chat and they have just disappeared?..there was mention of meets from both sides but nothing confirmed and chat seemed to flow well...but after getting to know everyone for a while we hear nothing?...of course we know there is many different reasons why this happens but does the majority prefer this way? Does it help to feel more comfortable? Or are we maybe taking too much time on this? (fem)

I take it you mean “getting to know over the internet/fab” rather than in real life.

I suspect you are basically taking far too long trying to work people out before meeting them,it’s not a dating site. A couple of messages and arrange a social meet is my suggestion.

Couldn't have worded it better myself ! You can get to know each other and see if there is a connection enjoying a cuppa in a cafe. I would be looking at fixing a social within a week or so of the first couple of messages .

Not really trying to work them out as we have respected what they have asked and that’s been to chat first, maybe keeping it shorter is better we would much rather chat face to face better getting personalities across and connection. And ultimately the end result has been no type of social at all so doing it differently we have nothing to loose

All this advice about meeting sooner is subjective. I take each person/ couple as they come. Sometimes I don't have the time to meet within a week or two, sometimes they don't.

There could be a myriad of different things going on and without some examples it's hard to know what advice to give.

Just wondering- if it's a man wanking (fake profile) he disappears after he's had the sex chat.

Perhaps they just change their mind or life gets in the way.
