Hi all, just a quick question, has anybody been chatting to someone, real filthy chat, getting along really well, getting closer and closer to a meet, sending photos to each other and little sexy vids for a number of weeks, then on the night we ready to do cam chat, the phone is broken and the ipad is broken....

OK fair enough no probs, then all of sudden messages are read but not answered, 3 or 4 days pass of no contact (I left her to it because I don't like to hound people, I sent one or two messages asking if she was OK) then out of the blue a message comes through, saying.... The funniest thing happened to me today (mentioned my home town) which she lives nowhere near. I asked her what happened and no reply, two days pass and I ask her, so what happened then Im looking forward to hearing all about it, then bam..... Blocked!!!! What the actual.... Its messing with my head.

Anyone got any ideas firstly of what the hell changed and secondly what happened in my home town, it's messing with mind. Why no explanation and why the block... I'm so confused about what she may have done and why she sent that last message.... Opinions pleeeeeeease anyone!!!

Did you actually speak on the phone?

I'm betting not.

The vids could have been anybody.

The messages since were more game playing.

It's a learning curve. Speak early on.

No never spoke on the phone, the excuse was the phone broke.

I wish I learnt a little earlier then, stupid here sent pics and vids, what happens if it was a man and he uses them for someone else.... Omg!!!

Yep...

Most "couples" who contact me are men on their own, and a lot of the "single women" too.

9 times out of 10 if I ask to speak on the phone there's some excuse as to why they can't, or they just disappear.

It's a good filter.

Don't let it put you off, but just be a bit more wary next time.

Yep...

Thank you so much for the advice, I suppose its because I am far too naive and a genuine person, I always everyone else is the same, I will definitely be more careful in future x

Please don't give up on people. Amongst all the oddballs there can be found some lovely genuine people who are who they say they are, actually match their description and who have thought about what they want. Good hunting

Don't beat yourself up about it. x

You can also block them if you want, so they can't unblock and mail you again.

Some more tips if you want them- never do any sex chat at all, until you've met them in person. That puts off the wanking men. Also don't send pics until you've met them, for the same reason.

Do a social meet (coffee or drink in a pub) first so you can figure out if you get on. Again this puts off the wanking men- even genuine couples may have one partner who is more keen than the other. You can suss out any issues in person that way.

Social meet- pick somewhere not out of your way. So if they don't show up it's not the end of the world and you can still have a drink with your partner.

I ask for a face photo of them both together. Fakes often send pics of them separately- usually the wanking man and some random female pic he found online.

Not everyone is fake. When you find someone nice it's worth it.

Most likely the obotis and vids he was sending you are from the last victim he tricked. Tends to be when they run out of exscuses, photos and vids to send they block & move onto the next victim.

Horrible experience and been there but it defo wises you up (makes you a little cynical aswell) but dont let it put you off because there is lovely genuine people in the online world. We tend to ask to move the chat to kik and tell them we will ask for a live pic. You will never see your msg read, deleted and you blocked so quick in your life lol
