Banned words on the forums

I've just tried to write a serious post which included the word black-mail (no hyphen), only to have it rejected by fab. I know that r@pe is also a banned word, as is dr*nk. Is there a list somewhere of words we can't use?

And what's the point of banning them? People sometimes want serious conversations about the dangers of r@pe in the swinging world, or the risks (and pleasures) of dr*nk sex. Why should the site try to prevent that? The ban is obviously futile anyway because we all just use "dr*nk" or whatever.

If someone uses the forum inappropriately - eg threatening to r@pe someone - the posts should of course be taken down and the user disciplined. Making them use the @ symbol doesn't change that.

Totally agree. For an adult site this policy is incredibly juvenile.

Seems bizarre for a forum that talks about adult stuff. So what happens if you used a 'banned' word? does post just get pulled? where is the list of banned words?

Under the Duvet

I was talking about un-c@ncious bias the other day but apparently you can't use that, or tumble w@@d.

Sometimes you'll get a message to say you cant use the word and sometimes it just gets omitted.

A list of banned words would be useful.

I find some of these automatic exclusions as utterly ridiculous, such as " I just coughed on my coffee",when we know what the real words should be.

A can of that red/white dark fizzy drink please

The way I see it,this site has become more difficult than the likes of facebook/youtube..just to have a fucking conversation.

A swinging sex site with graphic imagery censoring some common words is ridiculous.

this Op

still the site has not changed anything on here in years

time it had a re vamp and some money spent on it

you are right pictures of fannies

wide open legs

but you cannot say certain words is wrong.

Still it means spending money and I cannot see that happening

Because B-mail and r4pe are illegal acts. I get that.

But the others are a mystery....

Op again we should be able to talk about certain subjects on here I totally agree with. The owner of fab does not want to spend money because this interface has been on here since I can remember and it is not very user friendly and thinks do need up dating you are right

Are all illegal acts banned? That will be one hell of a list. So can I day I could murder a cup of coffee?

O o O oo

https://www.fabswingers.com/content/forum-rules

Banned words...some are for obvious reasons and to do with the forum rules or even more obvious and not in keeping with the site. Others are to keep the third party happy that Admin uses for payments.

We should just accept that Admin decide what we can do
