So I had a social meet last night. Had spoken to the “gentleman” on the phone and all seemed good and genuine. Took time to get ready so I thought I looked nice and drove 40 minutes to the pub we agreed to meet at.

About 10 minutes in to the meet he announced “you’re not my normal type in looks but I’m up for it if you are”

Needless to say it didn’t last much longer. So my question is and please be honest, who is just looking for sex no matter what the looks or type or who genuinely needs an attraction.

There are people on here for all sorts of reasons. Some for the numbers game, some for connections. Use the site how you want to but in my opinion he was crass for saying that to you. Maybe he saw it as being honest, who knows. Block him, move on and don't waste your time thinking about it x

There needs to be an attraction for me. I've had socials where I've enjoyed meeting them but sex is never going to be on the cards for me and others where they've felt no attraction to me.

If I had even the faintest inkling that they would have sex with me despite the fact they're not attracted to me I'd walk

This is exacly why i only meet at clubs.

I would put MASIVE effort into getting ready (not easy being a gal), do the traveling and arranging.

Then get welcomed with" you look good, get your knickers off".

In a club I often spend time chatting and falling for the personality.

Then it's easy to see if it's a "my knickers are off" or if its a " hope you enjoy the rest of your evening"

For us there has to be an attraction and a connection , we have gone to a club and not played with anybody else several times, not because of a lack of offers but because we didn't see anybody we found attractive

I had the same many years ago. I chatted to a woman for ages, swapped pictures. Talked numerous times on skype video chat. Got on really well online.

She suggested meeting. We arranged a hotel 2 hours drive for me and about a 15 minute drive for her. Met outside the hotel and was told by her sorry I don't fancy you. WTF? She couldn't work out she didn't fancy me from my pictures and from our video chats?

I once pulled up outside a pub for an arranged meet, in a taxi. My waiting date promptly asked 'don't you have a car?' to what I answered, 'No, I drive a van, why?' Something like that happend to a person i know. Dinner date and says if u were a bit thinner id fancy you. Me id of excused myself and sharp exit. She sat there and took more abuse.

Sometimes I think they're just being manipulative. I had a guy I knew at uni tell me I "wasn't typically attractive" but that he thought I was. Talk about backhanded compliment. Sometimes insecure people feel the need to try to chip away at your self esteem and make you feel lucky they're even interested. Fuck that!
