So I’m still new to this kind of scene, although so far it’s been so enjoyable and most people are delightful.

I’m feeling ready to attend a club or perhaps a social event of sorts. Not really sure on how to go about this. Would love someone to attend with me in the Leeds area.

Reach out ??

Go to the club section of the site and look up club reviews. There are some good ones up north I've been told.

Follow the club's site instructions on dress code and membership and so forth.

I'd just go as a single .. bit the bullet and just go for it.

Being a social butterfly always helps

If you wait for someone to take you, you will never get there. Just go. It's really not scary once you're there. Be friendly and respectful and you'll be fine.

There isn’t a problem really. Think I’m just waiting to be enabled as I feel guilty on some level about doing this sort of thing as no one I know does ??

Just take a big breath and do it by yourself don’t show that you are nervous as that will stand out just go with the thought that you have no doubt have had about going to a club be confident you will be fine

Swinging clubs aren't quite the dirty little secret people seem to think they are. There's no need to feel guilty. I'm sure there are people you know who go and just don't talk about it. We found out quite a lot of our friends and people we knew went to clubs once we started going. I think in Leeds there are quest and pandoras. Have a Google and look at their websites to see how to get membership and just go for it. Once you've been you will wonder what you were worried about

Check out the thread under club events, I also recommend any other newbies or not so newbies to come along, there will be plenty of people there to chat to, sometimes people find it hard on here due to no verifications, easiest way to get a genuine verification is to go along to a club, the staff there will almost always verify you as a genuine person xx

Newcastle and Gateshead

just put on your "big boy" pants and go....

you are adult enough to be on a website like this,

you are adult enough to talk to people on here,

you are adult enough to go thru a big set of doors all by yourself....

Quest is a lovely club . We are regulars and love the social side to swinging. Have a look on the forums for events and add yourself on the guest list. Once you are there you will love it .. We took some newbie friends only last week to Quest and now they are talking about going on their own as everyone at the club is so friendly. Look at their website and look at the the rules and etiquette in a swingers club. If you take notice of this you won't go far wrong. We have both attended club's as singles in the past and understand how daunting it can be .. Just bite the bullet and go .. You will never look back. After all that's how we met. Happy Swinging

I still get a buzz from stripping down to my pants and walking out of the changing room. Especially if it’s a club I’ve not been to before.

"It's like walking into a new pub, what's the problem. Sorry but I've always gone on my own, not sure what the problem is"

It’s easier than walking into a new pub. If you’re a newbie to a particular club, you should get a tour, have the rules & etiquette explained, have an event host as a point of contact if you need anything & be introduced to some people.

There are lots of different club or organised socials all over the place. There are 2 in Liverpool & one in Chester.

Townhouse also do a specific Newbies event every month, as do some other clubs.

Finding the right event is as important as the right club - and there are a lot of clubs to try out in the North!

Wherever you choose, I’m sure you’ll have a great time!

M xx
