I am planning to go to a Swingers club for the first time later this month.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is what I am scared about if I do go - nobody talking to me.

Think I might need to find someone to at least go in with.

Near Tunbridge Wells

It depends what kind of event it is you're going to, nightclub style, house party, spa club?

It is a private members adult club in the UK.

I want to go to a Greedy Girls event so hopefully won't be ignored due to the amount of guys who should be there, but I also am not sure if I will feel comfortable to get involved or just want to watch for a while.

Am a bit nervous

What is the criteria for joining this “private members” club?

North Essex

Your profile is saying that you are in New Zealand, there are plenty of good clubs in the UK but its difficult to recommend one if you are the opposite side of the world.

"What is the criteria for joining this “private members” club?"

Approval from the person organising the individual event via their profile on here or FL (face pic required)

And payment on entry

Or that is my understanding of it without having made direct contact with them yet.

So you’re not actually going, as you’ve not even been accepted. So why the worry? Lol

I want to be sure I will attend before I request to attend.

I am not a time-waster.

Is not about me being accepted. I am no Oil painting, but am more attractive than the bag end of a bus lol.

I just wanted some advice or some people's experiences from attending clubs, particularly from female perspective.

Just go along, sit have a drink, be social. You will get approached. You are in a safe environment, so don't be afraid to say no if he doesn't interest you

I went to alone recently to a club, was nervous but had a great time, and the staff knowing I was alone asked another single lady to sit with me. I had a wander around, chatted to a few people before getting a drink. The staff are great, and were never far away.

Go along and have fun x

I still remember my very first time in a swingers club. I didn't have enough confidence to go on my own so went with an experienced guy I met before. He made me feel more at ease, and introduced me to some people there.

It was definitely eye opening experience, seeing people of all shapes and sizes having good time.

If you tell the club it's your first time, they will look after you and give you a tour of the club, as well as they might introduce you to some of the regulars.

There is no pressure to do anything you don't want to do in a club, it's fine to just watch, relax and socialise. And I'm sure you won't be short of attention, you're a woman! Lol. Just be prepared for the possibility of encountering the infamous 'Wanking Dead'- guys that just walk around in towels, don't talk to anyone, keep staring at women and wank... Also, you need to remember that even in a swingers club 'no' still means 'no'.

Have fun .

Exactly this OP. Just be your normal self, you'll have a great time whether you choose to play or not. X

The key thing is to literally socialise with people and have confidence in yourself

If I'm on my own I find it easiest to chat to people in the hot tub.
