Meet today cancelled because she ‘ate’ too much at lunch and was too ‘hungover yesterday’

Exchanged numbers with someone a few days ago - had a great call with them arranged meeting up. - no reply to any texts since on WhatsApp.

Another member messaged me as our kinks aligned, swapped numbers only to find backlog of meets too great, I’m better off meeting someone else.

Another member messaged me saying that im too light skinned and not dark enough.

Literally all of this in the space of a week.

I think it’s just a run of bad luck with a couple of flakes mixed in. It’s really irritating, but deep breath, do something else for a couple of days, then dive back in.

The tie colour is all wrong.

Should have stuck with the format of pic number 4.

Co ordinated and colour symmetry.

You've clearly given out very mixed signals there. Women just don't know if they are coming or going with you.

Not just guys with this problem...meet arranged Saturday, he said he’d be about 45 mins late. Not a problem. Then with half an hour to go, extended that later time by another 45 mins. And then by another 30 mins, at which point I told him not to bother.... There are flakes and timewasters all ways - just move on

Exactly, although this does seem like an extraordinary run of bad luck! I find single women the most unreliable for meets, perhaps look for married/attached ladies playing away, as they know exactly what they want, and don't have time to waste

Since I've got back on here, I've not really attempted any meets and I've only messaged a few people, but I remember that years ago, I used to get let down occasionally.

It's just one of those things. In my history on fab, I had to cancel only one meet and that was because I wasn't comfortable meeting her after she went psycho by message.

"Are you coming?"... "Yes, I'm having a shower first and having dinner, then I'll leave for yours. I'll be there at 7:30". "Ok!"...

"Are you still coming?"... "Hello?"... "Are you still coming? Are you ignoring me now?".. "Why aren't you responding?".. "Forget it, if you're being ignorant, you're a time waster and an arsehole!", Etc....

45 minutes later, after my shower and dinner, I was about to message her to say "I'm about to leave now!", But after seeing the messages, I replied "Hey, I think it's best that we give it a miss. Judging by your messages, you're sounding quite volatile. I'm sorry for having to let you down.".

I got a load of abuse back about being a time waster, but oh well...

I'll happily swap my luck for yours OP.

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding the engine on my daily driver following a timing belt failure.

Bent valves, the lot.

Wouldn't mind if my 'toy' was on the road, but I currently have the engine and box for that in my garage waiting for me to get a spare minute to begin their rebuild.

I've had a couple of similar experiences since I came back. Drove a 70 mile round trip to meet a couple I had been chatting with for quite some time. Arrived at theirs only to receive a text saying they had both d*unk too much and weren't in fit states to meet...More recently I had arranged to meet a female for some drinks. She played along with it for several days until I was just about to leave the house to go and meet her. Then all of a sudden she decided to ghost me completely. It's really frustrating and bloody annoying. But I've accepted now that not everyone is as genuine as they make out on here....

The "Ate a big lunch" excuse is a new one!

I won't eat before a meet because it does make me feel sluggish, bloated, fat etc. Not saying it was a great excuse to cancel just I get it lol

OP - it’s a numbers game and at least you’re getting to the stage of potential meets. Frustrating but you only need one or two to work out.

We can’t even get to the stage of meeting so consider that it’s difficult for everyone and you’re still doing better than most.

Mine is slightly better, 4 prospect all couples liked my pic and profile. Sent 1st message stating I am Asian (I know all think I am BBC) with 2 shared face pic and 2 didn't ask for, but end story is same all went cold, saved my time and energy to get ready for social drink, now I am chilling at home with game
