Hi guys...ive recently been subjected to something which involve my photos from this site fully nude (my fault should have made them hidden instead of public) from someone on plenty of fish...thwy say they want to ruin my life, tell my kids what I am despite not even being with their mother anymore and went as far to say a girl I saved from jumping off a bridge should have been me and now it can because they are in possession of my photos....the thing is I'm not bothered about naked pics but it's the damage in which someone can do in possession of them....So,I would like to know what can I do about this? Would police be willing to track IP Addresses?can it be reported etc?thanks for any advice

Report them to police. Not sure if this comes under the revenge porn thing, or anything but I am sure something can be done

I would definitely report to police. Cyber crime is being taken more seriously & people like this need to be stopped asap.

Call their bluff.

Work backwards from the worst-case scenario.

That will inform you who you need to consider talking to and being open about your lifestyle.

Once you have done that there is no damage this person can do to you.

Hope this helps.

Report the matter. I know this doesn't help but on sites like this I think it's better not to make pictures with your face visible if you have a lot to lose. I'm not being negative just saying

Log it with 101. They were brilliant when I needed them recently

"Log it with 101. They were brilliant when I needed them recently"

Definitely log it with 101, I have something ongoing and the police were brilliant when I used 101 (not revenge porn, but threats/harassment etc).

I was told to log every subsequent incident online (google your local police + report online) so your crime number is always updated.

Good luck and hope you can put an end to it quickly.

To be fair mate that happened to me last time I was on here... had a couples profile message me trying to arrange something, added them to friends list then all of a sudden "blocked".

At first I assumed they just wasn't interested but did it rudely. Come to find out on another couples profile my same pics were being used. Stupidly I confronted them on here before reporting them and they blocked me again.

I didn't take it further at the time due to not wanting people to know what happened but found the damage was already done when I tried messaging women on here and them saying " Didn't I tell you to fuck off!".... I hadn't messaged them before so technically they hadn't lol.

And yes it did affect my real world life but things are alright now and thankfully there's worst things goin on in the world so people care less about it!

So moral of the story and the point I'm trying to make is... report the skum, time to put them pricks back in the trash they came.

I wouldn't be quite so keen on going to the police. But maybe I've just had a VERY bad experience with them...

There is also a help line for revenge porn. Google should find it.

They were on the news trying to strengthen the law. Could be worth giving them a call to get advice.

Police and get as much evidence that you can. This is bl@km@il/extortion and they don't need to actually get anything out of it to go down for 10+ years, just by threatening they are committing a crime.

People never cease to amaze me as to why anyone would do such a thing. Ars*h*les.

I think Ariel13 is right and that this might be revenge open. Ask them how being added to the sex offenders list sounds.

It's bl*ckmail which is a crime. Just not sure if the police would invest the time tracking down who it is I think if you knew who it was they'd investigate though. This is awful. I hope you get it sorted xxx

Might be worth reporting them to fab as well, their profiles could get deleted and the mods might even block their email adressess from opening any new profiles on here

Takes a special kind of scumbag to make threats like this. Should be able to have what we want on our profiles but this is why mine has no face pics on public. Too many nutters looking to cause trouble. Definitely get police involved. Embarrassment short-term could be far easier than the damage done long-term.
