We both knew instantly. He asked me to marry him after 3 weeks. We've been married almost 11 years now and still as much in love as the first day we met.

that being said I think alot of people do mistake lust for love. xx

Words wisdom given to me years ago "the first 3 months are lust"! As a general rule of thumb I think this is a sensible approach to emotional attachment.

We met at a social 6 years ago this year, been married for almost 4 and have a son together.

But the day we met we both felt exactly the same

I agree with this...... we just "went with the flow" for the first few months....we acknowledged we had developed into a relationship after four months but even then didn't use the "L" word till we'd been together five months.......and here we are 19 months along and very happy

Same thing happened to us, after 6 months we moved in together and last year we got married. Its not as rare as you think, know a good few couples who met through swinging and are now very happy

everyones different tho, i couldnt love someone i had never met, nor could i fall in love with someone after a matter of week, have feeling for them maybe, feel i may be falling for them maybe but for me it would take much longer than that before i knew for sure i loved someone, for me love is not being able to live without someone and i know for a fact that if i had only meet someone a few times over a matter of weeks if i never saw them again it wouldnt shatter my world and it deffo wouldnt if i had never met them

I met a guy (not on here). We were FBs for 12 months. He gets married in 3 weeks.

He has no idea how I feel.

Hurts like hell.

At the end of the day people are people and sometimes you meet people that you just, well, reaLly like !!
