I had a partner, and she felt really bothered by that even though I was pleased and satisfied by all the fun, and because she was sort of disappointed and bothered about it, it sort of spoiled fantastic evening for me, maybe I'm bit to sensitive and should not think about her feelings?

Once upon a time, yes I'd have been very disappointed. Probably assumed 'it was me'

But, I now realise there's lots of reasons why a man can't always cum.

As long as I knew in advance it may not happen, and he was still enjoying everything else, then it wouldn't be an issue now.

I can say from experience some take it very personally. Cost me a relationship in my early years as I didn't manage to ejaculate through anything but masturbation until I was quite a few years down the line.

Definitely something to bring up before play IMO

It's good to be sensitive to your partner's needs, as well as feelings, as your post here demonstrates that you are. As long as you communicate in advance that you may not cum, then there'd no chance of surprises. I love a guy to cum but it's the overall experience together that counts, not just a few seconds of it.

I very rarely cum with anyone new, as I have to be very relaxed so would be double standards if I wasn't accepting of a guy who couldn't cum.

I haven't had the experience of a guy not cumming but as long as he has had fun, I don't see the problem.

I think one issue is sometimes a partner, and especially a new one, has no frame of reference on how sensitive you are, how much pressure to use, what will make you cum really quickly etc etc. You know they want you to stay hard and satisfy them but at the same time they are going at you in a way that you find so pleasurable that you will nut in seconds if you don't do that clenching thing with the leg muscles and think of Theresa May eating a whole herring etc etc. Then if you do manage to see off the urge to immediately orgasm then later on when you're getting tired and actually do want to, it becomes really difficult.

Meds affect it, so does stress and tiredness. I'm open about it after one of my first FAB meets was offended by the fact I haven't.
