HereAndThere

We attended a club recently and used some of the lube that club had in the room!

Poor Mrs didn’t like it as it got warm and felt like it was burning

Any recommendations for a good lube ?

Depends what you want the lube for. Different ones for anal and vaginal use.

Also depends if you want water based or silicone based. We prefer the water based.

Liquid silk, ID, maximus are all well known brands but some will have this warming effect. Liquid silk doesn't seem to. Also try avoid any lube with paraben, supposedly it's not a nice thing to have in your body x

As poster above said, Liquid Silk is the one we've constantly used, great lube.

Same as above, we love liquid silk and only buy this. The only thing that annoys us with it, is after a few pumps the mechanism seems to stop working and you have to pour it out but other then that it's fantastic.

We use ID but liquid silk is good as well like anything that is silky.

Ad othets have said, liquid silk is good. I've also mixed this with a little baby oil which stops it drying out so quick.

Be careful with baby oil, destroys condoms - should be water based

Note that baby oil will destroy condoms

Unless you're using a nitrile condom these are safe to use with oil based lubes.

I did prefer silicone based lubes. Now I'm not so sure. Thank you for the info.

ID millennium is excellent, it’s silicon based and doesn’t dry out

Nitrile condoms?

Not sure if sky condoms are nitrile based, if they're not then you shouldn't use any oil based lube with them.

There's a lot of misinformation regarding silicone based lubes but basically they can be used safely with any type of condom. The condom will not break down due to contact with silicone.

silicon lubes don't mix well with silicon toys though...

I'm allergic to a lot of them and have often experienced burning sensations from them. Never had any issue with any tenga lube though. Even if they are more designed for men!

Just a note some toys need to have water based lube only. Especially if they are the new toys like real feel.

Water based lubes are the best to go for. No nasties.

Another vote for liquid silk. Doesn’t dry up like the Durex ones (which are absolutely rubbish). I use regularly for all purposes. Could never work with different ones for different things. In a dark room I’d inevitably get the wrong one.

And that tingle lube! Might as well run a chilli on your whatsits..

Silicon. Lasts longer, good for, keeping latex nice, and I use it on my windows, keeps them clean for longer.
