Does compliments work?

Going by what I read, women get hundreds of messages a week and they've probably read from the worst to the best messages in their inbox.

I was wondering does complimenting ladies work or is it just another compliment from another person?

Depends on the context it's given. Lavishing compliments in a first message is fake to me. Can usually tell if a compliment is genuine though x

We a couple profile constently get get guys useing the compliment method on first message generally they are ignored as they just start to look like copy paste jobs and lot them are.

You better reading some ones profile taking the time to write a message tailed to them what they looking for.

I don't take compliments from fab ... they don't know me so feel it's false and I'm happy with myself ... wrinkles and all!

To be fair though not a fan of compliments in life as they seem bandied about Willy nilly and not really meant. When person's done well etc then it's earnt and worthwhile

A personal message and some well-judged humour would be far more effective I would think. But you know, that requires effort, so you could try telling the faceless lady ‘You’re beautiful’ in the hope she’s only read it 200 times that day.
